I give Highlands Periodontics a high five rating! They stepped right up to help me when I had a grill brush metal piece caught inside my tongue! It was very upsetting, worrisome, and my husband and I are very happy and satisfied with their fine care. They are most professional. They explain each step of the way. I'm sure it isn't their everyday care I pray), but know that it was a huge emergency for us. I was afraid to eat, talk, swallow. I was afraid I would swallow it. We want to thank them! Dentist Jenkins and Alex were wonderful! And I do give the most credit to God Almighty! He answered my prayers that they would not have to CUT it out. Tweezers did the job! Psalm 124:8

I was absolutely more than pleased with my visit to Highlands Periodontics and Implant Dentistry! I was greeted with a smile and very helpful lady when I walked in. The wonderful ladies who did my X-rays listened to me and explained everything that they were going to do and nothing hurt! Easy peasy!! The doctor took time to talk with me about my condition, my options, timeline and cost. I couldn’t be more satisfied with my visit!

I had the most awesome visit at your office today. Everybody was very polite. They were very friendly and respectful. I look forward to using you all again. I have told about 10 people today that they should use your office, and I also plan to post something and send it out to the world. Again, thank you all so much for taking care of me so properly.

This is a wonderful place. It is friendly, clean, and the staff takes time to explain everything that they do and why. At the end of the visit, they will explain what needs to be done and how they will proceed to do so. I had Dr. Jenkins. The entire staff was very helpful and clear.

First visit for a consultation today. Very modern state of the art equipment in a clean setting. Personable and knowledgeable professional staff. Extra time was taken by Doctor Jenkins to thoroughly explain the process and to answer any questions and concerns that I had. Highly recommend.

About Highlands Periodontics and Implant Dentistry: Adam Jenkins DMD, Msd, Stephanie Till DDS, Msd
Highlands Periodontics and Implant Dentistry is a periodontal and dental implant practice located at 150 Clinic Drive, Suite 1 in Kingsport, Tennessee, in the Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains region. The practice focuses on two areas: periodontal care and dental implant solutions. For patients with gum disease, the office offers personalized treatment plans for both early and advanced stages, including scaling and root planing, periodontal surgery, periodontal maintenance, recession treatment and soft tissue grafts, crown lengthening, oral biopsy, and pre-prosthetic surgery.
For patients replacing missing teeth, the implant dentistry services listed on the practice's website include single tooth implants, implant bridges, implant overdentures, All-on-X full-arch treatment, extractions, bone grafts, sinus lifts, and ridge augmentation. The implant process begins with a consultation and exam, including X-rays, to determine whether implants are a good fit, and in some cases a temporary crown can be placed at the same time as the implant. The practice also offers sedation options, including oral sedation, intravenous (IV) sedation, and nitrous oxide, for patients who feel anxious about treatment. The team describes its approach as built on empathy, personalized attention, and long-term relationships with patients.
