Excellent experience at Highlands Ranch Perio. The team is professional, kind, and made me feel comfortable from start to finish. Everything was explained clearly, and I never felt rushed. Clean, welcoming office and truly top-notch care. Highly recommend!

Dr. Mike completed two surgical procedures over a period of a few weeks to address issues with my teeth and jaw. Throughout pre-operative consultation, during the surgeries and during follow-up exams he was thorough, clear in his explanations and pleasant in his approach. He listened to what I have said and addressed my questions and concerns. I have full confidence in Dr. Mike and have nothing but good and appreciation to report. Thank you Dr. Mike.

Instead of the copy-and-paste, "hammer-and-nail," quick fix response to my periodontal issues, Dr. Mike gave us thorough exam and explanation of my long-term solutions. I know more about the anatomy, history, and progression of periodontal disease and the step-by-step process to repair and prevent further issues. The staff is congenial, and the overall estimate plans are affordable. I will be back!

Dr. Erin along with her assistant did my oral surgery. Both excellent to work with. Dr. Erin answered all of my questions and they were very thorough with instructions for after surgery care. Office staff very pleasant. Would highly recommend Highlands Ranch Perio. Connie Brummond

Highlands Ranch Periodontics and Dental Implants is a periodontal specialty office in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, offering a full range of procedures to treat gum disease and help keep it from coming back. For patients with failing or missing teeth, the practice provides dental implants and the All-on-4 protocol, which replaces a full upper or lower arch of teeth with an implant-supported restoration in as little as one day. The team also offers a maintenance program for implant-supported dentures and focuses on understanding why implants fail so that patients have the best chance of long-term success and stability. The office notes that it always recommends keeping your natural teeth when possible, while helping you understand your options when that is not realistic.
The practice emphasizes that healthy gums matter for overall health as well as dental health, and it encourages patients to use its website as an educational resource before and after treatment, including detailed surgical instructions. The office is an in-network PPO provider with many dental benefit plans and offers financing options. Located in Highlands Ranch, the practice serves patients from the surrounding areas, including Centennial, Lone Tree, Columbine, Southglenn, Wolhurst, Castle Pines, Castle Rock, and the Ken Caryl and Roxborough areas of Littleton.
The practice's clinical team includes two periodontists, Dr. Mike Bahman Norouzinia, DDS, and Dr. Kerri Font, DDS. Dr. Norouzinia earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center College of Dentistry at San Antonio in 2011, then completed an accelerated two and a half year residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, where he received his specialty certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Science in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences. His residency research focused on the effect of biomaterials on healing and pain after tooth extraction. He is board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Font earned her dental degree at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, where she received the Student Award in Periodontology and was inducted into two dental honor societies. She completed her specialty training in Periodontology at Wilford Hall Medical Center in 2005 through a United States Air Force health professions scholarship, and in 2006 earned a Master of Science in Periodontology from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and achieved Diplomate status in periodontics. She served seven years on active duty, including as Assistant Chief of Periodontics at Ramstein Air Base in Germany, and has continued in the Air Force Reserves for a total of 23 years of military service. Dr. Font has also served as Director of the Graduate Periodontics Program at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and holds a certificate for intravenous conscious sedation.
