From the moment you walk in, the staff is warm, professional, and makes you feel completely at ease. The office is clean, modern, and well run, and Dr. Hopkins takes the time to explain everything clearly while providing thoughtful, high-quality care. The hygienists are gentle and thorough, and the entire team genuinely cares about patient comfort. Dental visits can be stressful, but this practice makes the experience easy, positive, and confidence-boosting—I couldn’t recommend them more to anyone looking for an excellent dentist in the Waycross area.

Dr. Hopkins is the best dentist I’ve ever used. The staff at Hopkin’s Dentistry are courteous and professional. They stick to your appointment time and perform exceptional work. I highly recommend for all your dental needs. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

As soon as I walked in it the deck ladies were extremely kind. I got taken back not long after I tinged filling out my paperwork. The girls were kind, caring and very informative with knowledge and answering my questions. Dr. Hopkins is kind and gentle! Definitely will keep him as my primary dentist. Thank you for my thermal cup as a welcome gift to the Hopkins Dentist Family

Crazy as it sounds, going to this dentist office is something I look forward to. The staff is wonderful, caring, and treat you like a friend. Dr. Hopkins truly cares about his patients. I leave there feeling very blessed.

As a first time pregnancy woman, I was never warned of the struggles your teeth go through during pregnancy. One morning a tooth broke in my mouth. I called around to so many dentist offices, getting turned away because I only had Medicaid insurance. Finally, I got a hold of Hopkins Dentistry. Even though they did not take my insurance, they did not turn me away. They were so kind and understanding and really did want to help me. They were so professional and empathetic of my situation. They explained to me that their prices were affordable and could schedule me anytime for a visit. So for someone who was a first time mom to be and had a fear of the dentist, Dr Hopkins and his staff gave me an amazing experience. His reassuring bed-side manner and his steady hands took care of me. I felt no pain and have had no complications since the procedure. Thank you so much Dr. Hopkins and staff for coming to my rescue!!! You are awesome!

Meet the Doctors
The practice is led by Dr. John Hopkins, DMD, a Waycross native who has practiced dentistry since 1997. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, then completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Florida in St. Petersburg before opening his own general dental practice in Waycross. He later purchased an additional Waycross practice that had been established in 1975. Dr. Hopkins is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Southwestern chapter of the Georgia Dental Association, and the Satilla Area Dental Society.
