On Feb. 24th I had my consultation with Dr. Moya to get 3 wisdom teeth extractions. During the consultation, he made me feel completely at ease; his expertise and personable approach made me feel confident that I made a wise decision to come to Houston Oral Surgery Associates. I scheduled to get my surgical treatment done on March 2nd and from the moment I checked in—I was well taken care of throughout the entire process. My surgery went extremely well, and his postoperative instructions and plans are thorough and easy to follow. Dr. Moya and his staff are wonderful to interact with. Great experience in every single aspect!

Dr. Maida and his team took great care of me before, during and after my procedure. They genuinely care about you as a patient and answered all of my questions. I was extremely nervous about this whole thing but with this group, you have nothing to worry about. If you are looking forward an oral surgeon, come here. Easy parking and great people who care about you!

I couldn’t not write this review; I’m genuinely pleased with the care I received at Houston Oral Surgery Associates (HOSA) on San Felipe.
I was referred to this office by my dentist and was able to have both my consultation and surgery within the same week, which I truly appreciated since I was in significant pain. Dr. Maida was very thorough when explaining my options and made sure I understood every step. I had an immediate implant done under general anesthesia and was comfortable throughout the entire procedure.
What really stood out was the follow-up. Dr. Maida personally called me the same day after my surgery to check in. As a registered nurse with ICU and OR experience, I know that level of personal follow-up is rare and typically delegated to other clinical staff, so it meant a lot. His bedside manner is excellent, and felt he genuinely listened to my concerns.
The staff were also incredibly kind and attentive, making the whole experience smooth and reassuring. I’m looking forward to my future follow ups. Overall, I’m very happy with the care I received and would absolutely recommend this office to anyone in need of oral surgery.

Got my wisdom teeth removed this morning and I can not sing enough praises for the Doc and his crew. I was in and out. The team explained everything very clearly and in a way even a bozo like me could understand. These people are nothing but the kindest and doc is tough but fair, and EXTREMELY good at his job. Thank you Doctor Moya, you and your staff were amazing.

I recently had all four of my wisdom teeth removed at Houston Oral Surgery Associates, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience.
I had been putting this procedure off for years, mainly because I sustained a traumatic brain injury in 2021 and was understandably concerned about any potential risks. When I met with Dr. Moya, he took the time to truly listen to my concerns, asked thoughtful questions about my accident, and reassured me that I would be safe. That level of care and attention meant everything to me.
The entire process was seamless from start to finish. The procedure itself went smoothly, and the post-operative care was clearly explained with detailed instructions that made recovery much less stressful.
The office staff was also excellent—communication was prompt and professional. They returned my calls quickly and ensured my medications were sent over without any delays.
Overall, this experience exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Houston Oral Surgery Associates to anyone needing oral surgery! Thank you all for your time.
