What an amazing office that provides the highest quality of care! All of the staff, front desk workers, nurses, providers, everyone, were really friendly, welcoming, receptive, and kind. Dr. Franks is incredibly knowledgeable and absolutely outstanding. She is an expert at new techniques and stays on top of new advancements to ensure the best care for her patients. Even during the holidays and outside of office hours, she instantly responds to questions and concerns about patients' health. This is genuinely one of the best, if not the best, clinics in our town. I greatly appreciate all of Dr. Franks's and her staff's wonderful work!

From the receptionist to the actual appointment, everyone was genuinely friendly and welcoming. I felt accepted and, more importantly, like I truly mattered. To me, that’s customer appreciation 101.
With my appointments scheduled around the holidays—a time that can feel stressful and overwhelming—the kindness and care I received meant even more. They went above and beyond to make the experience comfortable.
I don’t know many people who need gum grafting or other dental work, but when I do, this will be the first place I recommend without hesitation. To everyone who showed me kindness and professionalism, thank you.

Dr. Lauren Dasher and her whole staff are so wonderful! I had quite a complicated procedure and Dr Dasher was so amazing! Took her time to explain everything before during and after. I also had deep cleaning at this office and the hygienists were very gentle and kind.
The assistants and offices staff are so nice and helpful too.
I highly recommend this periodontal business!

From the start to the finish, my experience here was outstanding. Scheduling was clear and reminders came via text to help me organize. The nurses were thorough and cheerful. My doctor explained everything clearly and acknowledged my input while developing treatments. Easy 5 star experience.

I was having a major dental emergency and reached out to this establishment. The response time was exceptional. The day of my appointment, the front office staff was welcoming and extremely helpful. The hygienist was kind and thorough with the questions she asked me. And then Dr. Franks topped it all off with her superb ability to determine what was wrong with me, explain it, offer treatment and answer any questions i had. Following the appointment, the office continued to work with me and be patient with me as I was in contact with many different doctors. Originally I had contacted 3 different periodontics and I am so appreciative this is the one I ended up going to.

Her clinical research focused on ridge augmentation, and she serves as an adjunct associate professor in the University of Alabama at Birmingham Department of Periodontology and as Vice President of the 8th District Dental Society. Dr. Franks earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2019 and then received her certificate in Periodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry from the same university. She was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society, received the International College of Dentists' Humanitarian Award and the 2019 Quintessence Award, and is an adjunct associate professor in the University of Alabama at Birmingham Department of Periodontology. She currently serves as President of the 8th District Dental Society. Both doctors are members of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Alabama Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the International Association for Dental Research.
