Brittany is my hygenist I had the pleasure of being introudced to as a new patient in 2025. She is truly an incredible hygenist. If you have dental anxiety like I do, her patience and kindness alongside her gentleness with cleaning is superb. Highly recommend asking for her if your looking for a new hygienist.

Oh gosh - I’ve found my dentist!! Relocating to Tennessee from Colorado and starting all over finding all the important people I need in my new space has been a little stressful. Immediately I felt welcome. Faith, my hygienist was a dollface. She was so kind, so patient, and easy to talk to. Dr. Sam was equally kind and thorough with me. I appreciated all the time the toon with as a new patient and made me feel so comfortable. I could tell they truly care for their patients and it’s important to build relationships with them. It was evident in the conversations I had with both Faith & Dr. Sam. Thank you for taking me in and making me feel like I’m part of your family! 💛

Hutton Family Dentistry absolutely earned my trust and my loyalty, not once, but twice. I originally found them online after making sure they accepted my insurance, and I am so glad I did. I have seen both Dr. Emalie and Dr. Sam Hutton, and both have been wonderful. When I still lived in Columbia, Dr. Sam treated a deep cavity that could have gone either way, either a filling or a root canal. Instead of jumping straight to the more invasive and expensive option, he recommended the conservative approach with a filling first, and it worked perfectly. I still have had no issues to this day. After moving to Nashville about a year ago, I needed a new dentist because I did not want to take so much time off work for the commute. I found a local dentist closer to home in the West Nashville area. On my very first visit, I was told I needed nearly $14,000 worth of dental work, including refilling multiple old cavities, at least two new crowns, and treatment for such severe gum issues that they refused to even do a standard cleaning without an extensive deep cleaning plan first. The problem? I had zero pain, no sensitivity, no symptoms whatsoever, and had been receiving regular care at Hutton Family Dentistry. This new dentist wanted me to sign paperwork that same day and warned I might even lose a tooth if I did not immediately agree to the expensive treatment plan! My gut immediately told me something was off. I immediately called Hutton Family Dentistry, explained the situation, and told them I wanted a second opinion because they were the office I trusted. They squeezed me in within two days, repeated my x-rays, and even covered some of the cost themselves since my insurance had just paid for imaging elsewhere. The result? Zero cavities. No crowns needed. No implants needed. Nothing. After extensively comparing my new x-rays and images to prior ones to ensure absolutely nothing was missed, they confirmed I did not need any dental work at all. I was able to get a normal cleaning and go on my way. That level of honesty and integrity is rare. Hutton Family Dentistry could have easily recommended unnecessary work too, but instead, they gave me the truth. That says everything. If you want a dental office that truly puts patients first, values honesty, and recommends treatment based on what you actually need rather than unnecessary procedures, this is the place.

Had a great experience at Hutton Family Dentistry today. Christy was very polite and did an excellent job with my X-rays, and Faith, my hygienist, was very professional and thorough. Dr. Sam, Dr. Emalie, and Monti all introduced themselves and were incredibly welcoming. I definitely recommend them if you’re looking for a dentist.
