My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed today at iCare Oral Surgery, and we had a wonderful experience. As a mom, I was naturally nervous, but Jenny and Addison were absolutely amazing. They were patient, kind, and made my daughter feel comfortable before the procedure.
After surgery, my daughter was definitely out of it from the sedation, but the staff took great care of her and made sure she was safe and ready to go home. They explained everything clearly, answered our questions, and made the entire process much less stressful.
The level of compassion and professionalism we received was outstanding. My daughter felt cared for, and I felt informed every step of the way. Thank you to Jenny, Addison, and the entire iCare Oral Surgery team for making a difficult day so much easier for our family. I highly recommend them!

I can’t thank this amazing team enough. I have been fearful to get my impacted wisdom teeth removed and this office and the compassionate staff went above and beyond to care for me. I felt like family and Dr. Thompson even made himself available to reach the weekend prior due to severe pain and swelling. It is incredibly rare to find care like this, and I am eternally grateful for such a great experience! Thank you for making this scary experience for me, much more pleasant than I ever could have imagined! ❤️

I had the best experience at Icare oral surgery. I really was nervous, and they REALLY made me feel extremely comfortable. From the time I walked in the door, every single person was SOOO VERY nice. Dr. Thompson was AMAZING! He definitely makes you feel super comfortable and makes you feel right at home. I would recommend this place to anyone that’s forsure.

I went in for two wisdom teeth removal they are so friendly and caring. Dr. Thompson was amazing one minute I'm chatting away the next I was up and on my way home. Highly recommend. Thank you for such good care.

Dr. Thompson was very professional and did an amazing job removing my wisdom teeth! 10/10 would recommend. My surgical assistants Savannah & Jenn were very professional and did a great job explaining my post op instructions. A great experience, highly recommend!

Meet the Doctors
Dr. William L. Thompson, DDS, MD, is the owner of iCare Oral Surgery and a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He is a Diplomate of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and holds both a doctor of dental surgery degree and a medical degree. Dr. Thompson earned his bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University and his dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, then completed a residency at St. John Health/University of Detroit Mercy Department of Advanced General Dentistry. He went on to complete a six-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency through St. John Providence Health System, which included a medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He was inducted into the Pierre Fauchard Academy in 2016 and has received the St. John Providence Health Resident Research Award, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology Horace Wells Award, and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry Student Research Award. A lifelong Michigan resident, he lives in Milford with his wife and five sons.
