My son was sent to see Dr King for a scary situation, and the staff was all very friendly and so supportive! Yanira the dental assistant was so sweet and empathetic, she really made my son feel better about the whole procedure. I can't leave out Amy at the front desk, she helped us get in last minute. She was beyond helpful and caring! Thank you all so so much!! Highly recommend them, they were all very professional and caring!!

I’ve been a patient at this office for basically my entire life (over 20 years), including cleanings, orthodontic work, braces, and permanent retainers. Because of that history, this experience was honestly really disappointing. I scheduled a consultation months ago to discuss braces again and fixing retainers that had broken over time. After waiting around 7–8 months for my appointment to actually get braces on, I showed up expecting treatment to begin. Instead, the appointment became very uncomfortable and confusing. The doctor repeatedly told me to “relax” and “stop moving” even though I was simply trying to understand what was happening. When I explained that one crooked tooth specifically bothered me, I felt dismissed rather than listened to. I understand that no orthodontist can guarantee a “perfect smile,” and I was never asking for perfection — I just wanted to improve a tooth that has visibly shifted. What upset me most was the communication throughout the appointment. There seemed to be confusion between the doctor andh staff, I had to repeat myself multiple times, and after sitting there for almost 2.5 hours, I was eventually told by another staff member that my case was being denied. After being a loyal patient for so many years, the overall experience felt demeaning, embarrassing, and poorly communicated. I completely respect a doctor deciding whether or not they can take a case, but I believe patients deserve kindness, clarity, and professionalism during those conversations I do want to make it very clear that the female staff members and assistants were absolutely wonderful. They were kind, patient, respectful, and honestly the only reason I left feeling even somewhat heard and respected as a person. They were not the problem whatsoever, and I truly appreciated the way they handled the situation. My issue was specifically with the doctor’s communication and overall treatment during the appointment. After being a loyal patient for so many years, the experience felt demeaning, embarrassing, and unnecessarily uncomfortable. I completely respect a doctor deciding whether or not they can take a case, but patients still deserve kindness, clarity, and professionalism during those conversations.

EDIT: no one has reached out to me 😂 5/13/26 dental work was fine and we’ve had no problems with that at all! Wasn’t sure if I was going to put this up, but Took my daughter for a mouth surgery, had Dr.Thompson, want to start off by saying I appreciate the service for my child I couldn’t give, was upset initially because she (Dr.Thompson) tore my daughters lip while placing the breathing apparatus in her mouth aggressively,, this was after she left from our unfinished surgery to begin on another child’s surgery leaving us waiting for well over 20minutes, when she (Dr Thompson) saw I was visibly upset and no longer making small talk she asked what was wrong, I explained it was the tearing of my daughters lip (she’s 5 at the time) upset me and if it wasn’t for carelessness it wouldn’t have happened, wasn’t able to finish before she started speaking over me and tried to say it was like that already, I also mentioned it was unprofessional to leave in the middle of surgery to begin another, she began speaking over me immediately , I noted that while sitting calmly with my daughter in my arms, she then wanted to act like a victim and call me hostile, I asked the nurses if that was the case as I didn’t in fact do anything hostile, they were afraid to speak and the doctor continuously refused to let me finish a sentence, so I ended the conversation, while walking out the nurses apologized PROFUSELY. I thanked them since the doctor didnt even apologize, which led to Dr.Thompson coming around the corner from eavesdropping and raise her voice at me stating I was in fact wrong, and began explaining why, in front of the whole office. I finally had to just leave with her yelling “sir I’m not done talking to you “ later the office called and apologized FOR HER, and said they had never seen someone in that circumstance act so calm, and cordially, and that I had every right to speak up, then said that Ms (hopefully not MRS, Lord help that man if so) Thompson acted out of line and asked for them to apologize FOR HER. Ridiculous, I paid $1,200 to be disrespected, and the look on the assistant’s/ nurses tell me they are most likely treated that way by her as well.
