Independence Dental is the best. They were fantastic. The dental hygienist was extremely thorough with my x-rays and cleaning. The consultation with the dentist broke down a thorough dental plan for me moving forward. The plan discussed x-rays taken, crowns to be replaced and possibility of Invisalign. Independence Dental has amazingly friendly staff with a very warm inviting atmosphere.

Very nice staff, clean beautiful atmosphere, they listen to you As well as work with your insurance. They do a serious exam of your teeth and gums. Dr.Milliey and the dental assistant Jean wasJust awesome 👌 Thanks for lovely experience guys. Ms Darryl Canty

Been going to Independence Dental since they opened. Staff are amazing, Amanda the hygienist is very friendly, gentle and knows her stuff. Dr Milley is the best dentist I’ve gone to in years. He’s very proactive, cares for his patients. I recommend this place 100%.

The staff as well as Dr Milley was so kind and gentle. But most of all they were so very nice and understanding of my husband's alzheimer while I was being treated. I was a first time patient with a crisis. Thank you guys for your patience and your professionalism under the circumstances.

Dr. Milley and most of the staff were wonderful. When I needed something done, they gave me a treatment plan along with estimated costs. But I needed some deep cleanings, which they also gave me estimates on, and checked with my insurance. But apparently, after a deep cleaning, I will forever need some periodontal cleanings, which are only covered at 50%. They never once told me this, or gave me a treatment plan with these extra costs included, so I went in for my 2nd free cleaning of the year and I owed $62.50. While that is not a huge amount of money, the fact that I specifically asked if my next cleaning was covered, and they assured me it was, without an estimate, they clearly knew I was expecting that this was my free cleaning. They unapologetically argued with me for 20 minutes that this periodontal cleaning was indeed covered, and it was not their fault that I didn't instinctively know that "covered" meant only 50%. I am not sure if this was truly a misunderstanding, or shady business practices, but either way, they have now lost me, my husband, and my brother and a friend who just moved to Wilmington. I had originally praised Dr. Milley and his practice, but I now feel scammed, and will no longer be sending them my friends and family. 😞
