Wow! My experience with Dr. Otero and his team was calming, efficient, and safe.
His state of the art office had everything that gives a welcoming atmosphere. Dr. Otero was quite personable and professional as well. He had the uncanny ability to make me feel calm especially because I have a great fear and dislike of needles. His gentle approach made it easier for me to endure the oral surgery without being in discomfort. I would recommend Integra Dental and Dr. Otero to all of my friends and colleagues who are in need of dental services.

Dr. Otero did an amazing job removing my wisdom teeth. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The procedure was really quick. I did not experience any pain or swelling after my surgery.

Extremely recommended! Dr. Otero is highly skilled and incredibly attentive to questions and concerns. He even called me the day after my surgery to check in on me, and scheduled several follow-up visits to ensure everything was healing properly.
Johnathan at the front desk was also fantastic. He made sure I fully understood the costs upfront and explained everything clearly. Unlike many dental offices that only reveal pricing at the end, everything here was transparent from the start.
The office itself is clean and modern, with plenty of parking and minimal wait times. Also they’re the only oral surgeon I could find that takes Guardian insurance.
An exceptional place! I’ll definitely be coming back for any future dental work.

I recently had my wisdom teeth removed, and I can’t express enough how amazing the entire experience was! As someone who gets anxious about dental procedures ( Big Giant Baby), I was truly blown away by the patience and care I received. Dr. Otero was phenomenal. His expertise and calming demeanor made all the difference. He even followed up the next day to check on how I was doing, which truly showed how much he cares about his patients. His assistant, Helen, was equally fantastic, providing constant reassurance and making sure I was comfortable throughout the whole entire procedure. Dr Otero did the same.
A special shoutout to Jonathan at the front desk, who handled all the insurance paperwork seamlessly. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of before the end of the year, which I deeply appreciated. He was also so sweet, caring, and easy to talk to. He made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming.
The procedure itself went smoothly, and my healing process was much better than expected, with minimal discomfort. If you’re nervous about dental work, this is the place to go. I highly recommend Dr. Otero and his incredible team!
Ohhhhh I almost forgot to mention The office was incredibly clean and beautifully maintained, which immediately put me at ease. Everything was spotless, and the modern, inviting atmosphere made the experience even more pleasant. You can tell they take great pride in creating a welcoming environment for their patients.

Everyone at the office is very kind. I went for a wisdom teeth removal and got all four done with 0 pain before I even knew it! It took less than half an hour for the whole thing. I’m very grateful to have had such a great experience and I highly recommend anyone needing dental work to come here. They make the entire process very easy. (:

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Puerto Rico, completed a residency in General Dental Practice at New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell, and completed a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, serving as chief resident. He is also an Associate Professor in the Dental Department at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, and is fluent in English and Spanish.
