So, I’ve got terrible anxiety regarding dental appointments. I was a nervous wreck when I went to get teeth pulled yesterday (12/29/25). After only being there for 5 minutes and getting started on the nitrous gas, Dr.Jones’ nurse was already talking me down from my anxiety and validating my feelings so I didn’t feel dumb for nerves I couldn’t help. I wish I would’ve gotten her name because I’d love to give her credit. She was amazing. Dr. Jones came in and talked with me for awhile and we laughed and he made me feel very at ease. After getting started he reassured me that I didn’t have to get all 4 teeth pulled at once if I didn’t want to and that I could just do 1 today and come back and he would be happy as long as I was happy. I honestly think that one trip yesterday to his office changed my entire outlook on dental offices. When he told me he was starting, he explained what he was doing and I got ready for a lot of pain…after 3-4 minutes of me bracing myself for what was to come, Dr Jones said “ok, all done.” I was shocked. I thought we were still in the prep phase. I will never go anywhere else. I owe Dr Jones a huge thank you for making me feel so comfortable and making sure I didn’t feel the slightest bit of pain.

Outstanding! The office and front desk staff were very inviting. The assistant listened intently and was very professional. Dr Jones was friendly and the most thorough dentist I have ever experienced and I am 64 years old. He literally looked at every tooth and shared comments. I was very much at ease and look forward to my next appointment.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Jones dental care clinic since he began his practice, nearing 20 years, and was with Dr Ellis prior to that, pushing 30 years. Dr Jones and his staff treat me like a friend and family and my dental needs and health are always their utmost priority and concern. They really care about all their patients!!
My hygienist, Michelle is also the best. she is super particular about providing the best cleaning possible. I value her attention to detail and her advice for oral hygiene. These guys are fantastic, it’s a great practice!!

I lost a filling and crown over a year ago and tied 2 different dentists who turned out to be used car salesmen in disguise. Their plan was to pull as many teeth as possible and make a fortune on implants. Dr. Jones gladly just fixed the problem. I highly recommend Jones Family Dental.

Dr. Jones is not to be missed! Upon the recommendation of a friend, I took my 89 year old father to him and loved how patient he was and how he respectfully took the time to listen. My dad never complained and had the highest of respect and praise for this young man.
My husband took my father to his next appointment and he was won over and is now a patient, so I followed. We are now all happy members of the Jones Family Dental group.

Meet the Doctors
Justin B. Jones, DDS, leads the team at Jones Family Dental. He is a Tyler native who earned his associate degree from Tyler Junior College and his bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, then completed his doctor of dental surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, graduating with honors in 2007. During his dental training, Dr. Jones completed a preceptorship in implantology and was recognized with an award for clinical excellence. He practices general and cosmetic dentistry and is a preferred Invisalign provider for East Texas.
