My hygienist Missy has always been gentle with cleanings. I make sure my appointments are with her each time. I get the gas so it takes the edge off but so appreciative of her. She does the job without flinging me all over the chair!
I see Dr. Will. He, too, is gentle yet thorough. He tells me everything he is doing which eases any anxiety. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Zach today and he is a great guy.
I have been going here for 36 years. I trust them. They tell me if I need work or just to watch for something. They don’t just do things for the money. Honest. I appreciate that too!!

Dr. Will Kappenman took my daughter in for a check up and we had a couple of concerns that he walked us through and explained everything very thoroughly. We felt well taken care of and relief because no one had explained to us these things in detail like he did. Super nice guy and trustworthy. We liked his approach and trusted his treatment plan. Also-the rest of the staff there were so friendly and welcoming!

They have always been very nice too me there. I tell them about my teeth and they listen to me. The hygienist is easy on my teeth because they're very sensitive. Zack/Zach is a nice dentist and easy going.

Dr Will was very good at telling me what he was doing and what to expect, making the extractions pain free. All the staff is pleasant and helpful on the phone or when you are in the office. This clinic has been our dental go to place since early 1990s. Highly recommended by our family.

The staff are always so friendly, helpful, and understanding. The dentists are great at their job and very personable. We have been going to Kappenman’s for years and absolutely love it there!

Meet the Doctors

Dr. Zach Berg, DDS, who grew up in Rapid City, South Dakota and studied at South Dakota State University before earning his dental degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry, joined the team in 2023 and rounds out the clinical staff.
