Horrible Experience – Would Not Recommend My visit to Dr. Karla Roman’s office in Eureka was one of the worst dental experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the front desk receptionist treated me with shocking rudeness and complete lack of professionalism. I arrived five minutes before my appointment (scheduled for 11:20am), and instead of being greeted with basic courtesy, I was met with a condescending look and dismissive attitude. When I explained why I couldn’t arrive ten minutes early, she looked me up and down, smirked, and didn’t acknowledge me at all. When I told her I hadn’t received my paperwork beforehand, she shoved a clipboard at me without a word. I asked a simple question about whether I should reschedule, but before I could finish, she cut me off and curtly told me to “grab a pen and sit down.” The tone and treatment were degrading, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable—especially when patients are already anxious about seeing a specialist. Dental offices should be welcoming, supportive, and respectful. Instead, I felt humiliated, dismissed, and treated as though my presence was a burden. I walked out and will not be returning. I will also be sharing my experience with others so they can avoid going through the same disrespect. Patients deserve kindness and professionalism, not hostility at the front desk. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for care.

Dr. Roman has the best bed side manner. She constantly asks how you are doing during the procedure. I had oral surgery to remove broken implant which was under the gum which required palette and gum tissue cutting. She and her staff are caring, thorough, kind, and actually have sympathy and make the experience non scary and help you throughout the experience. No pain, Dr Ramon is the best dentist She was recommended by UIHS and she was awesome. Dr. Surdell from UIHS recommended Dr Ramon both are fantastic dentist and have best bed side manner. Thank you Dr Ramon you are the best and made my experience that was scary very easy and painless. Thank you and your staff. Teresa Jeffrey

Doctor Roman is the kind of doctor that we all would hope for. Her skills are excellent. I've had two oral surgeries where she did an excellent job. She is engaged with her patients and always answers my questions with nothing but the truth. She doesn't "sugar coat" her answers to my questions. She tells you the truth, even if it's not what you're hoping to hear. In my experience, many doctors answer your questions, but, all too often, what you're told is not the whole story. Pun intended, it's often like "pulling teeth" to get the complete answer. She has a stupendous chair side manner. She listens to your questions or concerns, tells you your options and the costs and because she is people people, she gives you truthful answers. She is a doctor who is as good as you could ask a doctor to be!

Dr.Roman is a wonderful Dentist. My husband had to have an old bridge removed and she did the extractions, a sinus lift and two implants. Through all of the appointments he was well cared for by Dr. Roman and her staff! They are very knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend her to anyone!

Excellent Surgeon! It is so nice to have such an amazing professional like Karla Roman in this area. I had met with other surgeons in other states and was most impressed with Karla. She is very skilled and thorough, she has an easy manner and takes complications in stride. As a patient i have no fears or worries and she explains everything to me in advance. I felt no pain, and everything went smoothly.
