I had my very first teeth cleaning here and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made me feel comfortable right away, and the environment is very family-friendly. The dental team was professional, patient, and took the time to explain everything clearly so I knew what to expect. The cleaning was gentle but thorough, and they made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I truly love this place and would highly recommend it to anyone, especially first-timers! Whitening rays on the go! MAHALOZ KSD!!

I had a tooth partially break off at night. The following morning I called at 7am and to my surprise I was able to schedule a 10:20am same day appointment. I don’t have dental insurance and took advantage of the in-house membership savings plan. I had x-rays and a comprehensive exam performed. Best of all Dr.Gonzalez skillfully installed a permanent crown. I was out the door before 2pm. Great experience, I wouldn’t hesitate to give my highest recommendation for Kauai Dental Studio!!!

my experience on august 3 was a very positive one. I interacted with Ariel (who was very personable), Dr. Gonzalez, as well as a couple of staff whose names I don't remember, but one took my x-rays, and another processed my payment.
I was on vacation in kauai at the time of this visit, and I consider myself fortunate to have gotten this appointment with your dental studio on short notice as my crown (not the one with the jewels - ha-ha) had just fallen off.

I cannot review this dentist highly enough. My prior experiences at another facility had me terrified to return to a dental office. Every visit since I walked through their door has been wonderful. They’re extremely attentive, they *listen* and respect your concerns, and are just generally wonderful people. Dr. Gonzalez and hygienist Heidi are amazing! ❤️Almost no wait times to schedule appointments. Can’t wait to return, and would give 100 stars if I could!!!

Kauai Dental Studio is a general and family dental office at 4368 Kukui Grove Street, Suite 101 in Lihue, serving families across the Garden Island of Kauai. For patients considering tooth replacement, Kauai Dental Studio provides both the surgical placement of dental implants and the restoration with an implant crown in one location. The practice states that it uses the Straumann implant system and three dimensional cone beam imaging for surgical planning, and that implants are typically restored with a crown after three to four months of healing. Complimentary dental implant consultations are offered to all patients. Other services include same day CEREC crowns, dentures, veneers, teeth whitening, white fillings, root canals, oral surgery including wisdom tooth removal, oral cancer screenings, pediatric dentistry, exams and cleanings, and same day emergency care. Meet the Doctors
Dr. Paul Yoo, DDS, leads Kauai Dental Studio. Originally from Oahu, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, where he later served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Dental Education Services from 2009 to 2018. Dr. Yoo has completed extensive postgraduate training in the surgical placement and restoration of dental implants and is a Fellow and Master of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and a Fellow of the California Implant Institute. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the International College of Dentists and the Academy of Dentistry International, and a member of the American Dental Association, the Hawaii Dental Association and the Kauai County Dental Society. Before opening his Kauai practice, he spent six years as a mission dentist in Zambia, and he and his wife have taken part in medical and dental service trips to more than 30 countries.
