How refreshing to have actual pleasant and knowledgeable persons to assist you with your dental concerns! From scheduling my 1st appointment, to all other aspects of dentistry and billing , EVERYONE went out of their way to ensure that I had answers and understood all my options!
The office is located in an older home remolded for the dental practice. The waiting are was in a beautiful sunroom! Very well taken care of, extremely clean. I arrived for my scheduled appt a few min. early and was signed in and into an exam room under 5 min. A thorough exam and a wonderful cleaning! Discussed all my options- was not hurried or "pushed" to choose any certain one- as matter of fact, was told to wait, think about it , & when ready , they would be there for me!!
I cannot express how fantastic this place is. Hopefully. It's real and not a "front" to scam money outta me! I will let you know after next appt...

The office was clean, comfortable, and made me feel at ease right away. The dentist took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire visit. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients and their smiles. I highly recommend Kearns Family Dentistry to anyone looking for quality dental care with a friendly and compassionate team. This is the best dentist office! The staff is so nice and engaging, including the dentist. Dr. Kearns has wonderful bedside manner, which is difficult to find, with Dr's, in general. Highly recommend 👌 You won't be disappointed.

I’m a new patient, and I’m so grateful to have found Kearns Family Dentistry in my new hometown. I’ve always been used to going to a family dentist, and this office truly has that same warm, welcoming feel. Everyone was kind, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. Anna was incredibly responsive and thoughtful over text, which I really appreciated. Ally was such a pleasure to work with—intelligent, patient, and genuinely caring, offering several helpful suggestions tailored to my dental needs and I feel I'm in good hands with Dr. Sean too! I feel very thankful to have found this practice and highly recommend them.

Always a pleasant experience at Kearns Family Dentistry. Love my hygentist, Amanda who is extemely professional, does an excellent job and has a wonderful disposition. Dr. Kearn is attentive to my needs while making me feel at ease and puts a smile on my face. Thank you KFD!

About Kearns Family Dentistry
Kearns Family Dentistry is a family dental practice at 216 North 17th Street in Allentown, Pennsylvania, offering comprehensive care for patients of all ages in one office. Meet the Doctors
The practice is led by Dr. Sean Kearns, DDS, who earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland in 2013 and completed advanced training at Westchester Medical Center with a focus on cosmetic dentistry, surgery, and sleep medicine. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Lehigh Valley Dental Society, and his care ranges from general dentistry to treatments such as veneers, dental implants, and conscious sedation. He is joined by Dr. Sharmin Islam, DMD, who joined the provider team in 2024. Dr. Islam earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Drexel University and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry, then completed a general practice residency at SUNY Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, New York. She has more than five years of experience and focuses on building long-term relationships with her patients.
