My experience with this office was extremely frustrating due to poor communication and lack of coordination.
On April 30, 2026, I had my consultation with Dr. Mills, who confirmed that I needed all four wisdom teeth removed. During that visit, my height and weight were recorded, and I was told the office would begin the authorization process and schedule my surgery.
Weeks went by without any updates. When I contacted my insurance company, they informed me that no authorization request had been submitted. I had to call the office myself, and only then was I told that the paperwork had not yet been sent.
After months of waiting, my surgery was finally scheduled.
Then, just days before the procedure, the surgery center canceled it because my BMI was above their anesthesia policy limit.
My frustration is not that the surgery center has a BMI policy. My frustration is that my height and weight were recorded during my very first appointment with Dr. Mills, yet no one ever informed me that this requirement could prevent my surgery. If I had been told from the beginning, I could have started losing weight immediately or explored other treatment options instead of spending months waiting in pain.
After the cancellation, I contacted the office looking for help. Instead of helping coordinate my care, I was told that the surgery center was responsible. Meanwhile, the surgery center had told me to contact Dr. Mills’ office. I was left going back and forth between two offices, with no one taking responsibility for helping me continue my treatment.
I have been suffering from wisdom tooth pain since January. I experience daily pain, difficulty chewing, jaw pain, and difficulty opening my mouth. After months of waiting, I am now forced to start over because an issue that could have been identified at the very beginning was only addressed days before my scheduled surgery.
I expected much better communication and coordination between Dr. Mills’ office and the surgery center. No patient should have to wait months only to learn, just days before surgery, that they were never eligible under the facility’s policy.

My daughter had her first premolars and wisdom teeth extracted today with Dr.Warren along with her canine being exposed for orthodontic reasons. He and the staff were wonderful, thorough and compassionate. She was in the best hands and we could not have asked for a better outcome.

I had 15 teeth removed. I was very nervous about getting that many removed at one time, as well as concerned about the medication process due to my history. Dr. Walters was extremely great! He answered all of my questions in a professional manner, as well as being relatable. He is funny as well as great at what he does. Plus, he worked with me on an after care plan that I was comfortable with. The actual surgery was was good. Took about an hr. And everyone was very helpful & nice. The staff was great at helping to schedule my appointments as well as assisting me with my payments. I would very much recommend!

Great job by the whole team! Experience was good as was immediate recovery. One plus day in and all is wonderful. Third immediate family member seeking surgical teeth removal at KOMSA and will gladly recommend to others. Dr. Warren is a great guy and a skilled surgeon. My daughter was seen by another surgeon with excellent results as well.

My second visit. First had a molar tooth removed, this time an implant set. Just got home. Dr Warren and all the lady’s helping are wonderful. I’m not a good patient so they hang pictures of me like Louisville’s most wanted, and write all points advisory’s when I show up. We will see how this newly planted screw in my jaw pans out. But my visits with Dr Warren and his staff have been incredible. Thanks to all of you for not calling the cops just to get me in the chair, and for helping me get thru it. I don’t handle med procedures well at all. Thanks to all of you so much. Very recommended and would go back.
