Complications can happen in dentistry. How a provider responds afterward is what defines professionalism.
I came to this office for a filling after my longtime dentist retired. During the procedure, I reported pain despite local anesthesia multiple times. Additional anesthetic was given, but the procedure continued.
Immediately afterward, I developed severe, persistent pain and sought further care promptly. Over the next two months I underwent multiple appointments and imaging and was unable to chew on that side without severe pain. Another dentist ultimately diagnosed a fractured tooth and explained the restoration was built too high, contributing to the issue. Despite interim measures, I ultimately required a root canal, resulting in over $3,000 out-of-pocket costs even with insurance.
What was most disappointing was the office’s response once complications were reported. Initially, I was told Dr. Keskimaki “felt bad” and requested my radiographs. After I provided the requested imaging, communication became abrupt and dismissive, my concerns were minimized, and no assistance, evaluation, or meaningful follow-up was offered.
I’m sharing this experience for patients who value accountability, clear communication, and professional follow-up when something goes wrong.

I took my 3 year old to go see Dr. Keskimaki today and my son was so comfortable with him. It was the best dentist experience my son has ever had, he was calm and listened to everything Dr. Keskimaki asked of him. Magical!!
I made an appointment for myself too, because he's just great! 👍

I knocked my front teeth out when I was 7 years old. After numerous caps, crowns and root canals, I went to Dr. Keskimaki's office and he and his staff walked me through the process of getting permanent implants. The process was long but they helped every step of the way. They treated me like family and always were happy, friendly and willing to help, even working around my work schedule and fitting me in when I needed it most. Such a wonderful environment and wonderful people! Thank you all so much! Blessings all around!

Absolutely amazing experience. Our toddler was treated with the most amazing care. I went first and our dental hygienist clearly explained everything she was doing in kid friendly terms that made it easy to understand. When it was toddler's turn she jumped into the chair, picked out her polish flavor, and got her sparkly clean smile! I am so appreciative of the care provided and toddler is excited to see her favorite hygienist in 6 months!

With my dental history and the hours Iv spent with dentist’s, this is my favorite dentist to work with. Doc is very fast and efficient. Thank you for all your hard work!
