This is the kind of place you’ll want to visit even on your birthday! Dr. Shively is friendly, approachable, and actually takes the time to talk through your options. I came in for crowns and a bridge and was pretty nervous, but he addressed all my concerns and made sure I understood everything before we started. The whole staff creates a really comfortable, supportive environment where it feels easy to ask questions. Misty and Christina at the front were incredibly helpful, kind, and made the logistics easy. Eunice was so sweet! I love her banter with Dr. Shively. During the procedure, Frances became my bestie with just the right amount of humor when you’re trying not to think about what’s happening. I genuinely don’t dread going to the dentist here. It’s easy to laugh with the staff, and the music is always great (I keep forgetting to ask what Spotify playlist they use). I recommend Dr. Shively and his team to anyone who will listen. Only caveat—fact-check him if he tells you a celebrity has died.

We are fairly new to the area after living in East Texas 30 plus years, so finding a dentist was a priority. My husband found Kevin Shively on the internet, read the reviews, so we made an appointment. I had a tooth that broke off at the base and it sounded like my only option was having it pulled or a bridge made as it was in the front of my mouth. Not only did he make it work with the base, a crown will take its place! I also had 3 root canals and another crown done. Im 67, so I opted not to have dentures. I experienced no pain during or after with these procedures which was all done in one day. Not only did he make it comfortable for me, he explained everything in detail before he did it. He and his asssistant worked together so smoothly, they were both on the same page, consistently. His entire staff was exceptional. I cannot brag enough on Dr. Shively. I would highly recommend him to anyone, of all ages!!!

Brought in my 3 year old. She was so scared to go but once she was with Erica she had no fear! Erica did an amazing job cleaning and checking her teeth! She was so kind and my daughter actually loved being there. Dr. Shively and Erica most definitely took their time and had her best interest in their hearts.the front desk was also very welcoming and helpful with everything. Will be bringing the whole family!

I've been with Kevin for about 3 years now, and have had 2 fillings and countless cleanings. The level of professionalism and care is unmatched. The 2 fillings I've had have been the most relaxing experience with fillings I've ever had. My most recent filling, I didn't feel a thing! The cleanings are always very comfortable and thorough, and I especially love that everyone is willing to educate me on my teeth. Highly recommend this place!

Everyone from the front desk to the doctor was absolutely amazing! My cleaning was painless and thorough. She explained every step of the process to me and provided me with great information on the health of my teeth and mouth. The doctor was also more thorough than any dentist I've ever been to before. Everything was clean, modern and efficient. I'm glad I found them! I highly recommend Dr Shively's office if you're looking for a dentist!
