Our family has been going to Kron and Erlandson Family Dentistry for years, and they have consistently provided excellent care and service. They truly live up to the name “family dentistry” because they genuinely care about their patients and always want what is best for you.
Recently, I needed to be seen on very short notice because I urgently needed forms and documentation completed. Even with a busy schedule, they made time for me, ensured I had everything I needed, and went out of their way to help. They made my emergency their emergency, and that level of care is something you do not find everywhere.
Throughout the entire process, they were honest, forthright, and transparent about any costs I might expect. The staff is professional, kind, and accommodating, and you can tell they truly care about the people they serve.
I cannot recommend Kron and Erlandson Family Dentistry enough. Anyone who chooses them for their dental care can expect compassion, professionalism, honesty, and personal attention.

We love love love Dr. Kron and his amazing team! My 7 year-old broke his front tooth, and came into the office in total panic mode. But the team talked him through what they were going to do in such a calm and reassuring manner that by the end he was holding up a mirror to watch! He has done nothing but chatter about how awesome it was and all the things he learned. And they got us in and out in less then an hour good as new and all this despite the fact we don't have dental insurance. Their rates were super reasonable and the staff was super friendly. Can't recommend enough.

The entire office is great to work with, especially for children. My kids look forward to going to the dentist at MKE. My three year old was still talking about how nice her hygienist was tonight, hours after her appointment. That's our normal experience. Oh - and we find them to be fairly priced as well.

They got me in that same day when I was in excruciating pain— and no one else was able to take me because they needed to do an “exam first”. I don’t remember the name of the dentist, but he was super nice as well as the dental assistant. I really liked my experience and I would’ve kept going as a patient, but they didn’t take my insurance. Luckily I have a great dentist now too. Regardless of paying out of pocket, they got me in the same day. I didn’t have any pain afterward and I healed super well. So they deserve 5 stars and i would DEFINITELY recommend you to them.

Very professional friendly and caring staff. I had major issues that needed immediate attention. Never had been there before, within 2 days they had fixed most of my dental issues plus a cosmetic within the next day. Recommend them 100%!

Kron & Erlandson Family Dentistry (KE Dental, PLLC) is a general and cosmetic dental practice located at 1706 11th Avenue North in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The practice describes its mission as providing high quality dental care to all its patients in a family friendly environment, blending technology and experience to customize treatment to each individual patient and each unique smile. Its services span preventive care such as teeth cleanings, checkups, child dentistry, sealants and periodontal maintenance, restorative dentistry including fillings, crowns, bridges, root canal therapy, extractions and dentures, and cosmetic options such as porcelain veneers, teeth whitening and clear braces. The office also uses CEREC technology to make same day ceramic crowns and other restorations in a single visit.
For patients missing teeth, the practice offers dental implants and implant retained dentures. According to its website, the implant process starts with a dental and radiographic examination and health history, with your needs reviewed either by Drs. Kron and Erlandson or by an oral and maxillofacial surgeon to whom the practice refers. The surgical placement of the implant is typically handled in that referral relationship, and once the implant has bonded with the jaw bone, Drs. Kron or Erlandson design and fit the final replacement teeth, whether a crown, bridge or denture. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 to 5:00 and Friday mornings from 8:00 to 12:00, and it serves St. Cloud along with surrounding communities including Sartell, Sauk Rapids, St. Joseph, Cold Spring, Rice, Waite Park, Foley and St. Augusta.
Meet the Doctors
The practice is led by Dr. Steve Kron and Dr. Matthew Erlandson, who together practice a full scope of general and cosmetic dentistry, from porcelain veneers to restoring dental implants, crowns and bridges. Dr. Kron grew up in Cold Spring, Minnesota and attended St. Cloud State University and the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Dr. Erlandson grew up in Monticello, Minnesota, graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2013, and completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency while on active duty in the United States Navy, where he served for five years before returning to central Minnesota.
