I’m very pleased with La Family dental in Encinitas. My dad implanted bridge came off, and I called my dad dentist office, and the receptionist got the doctor to work on my dad teeth on the same day. My dad was so happy that he got his teeth cemented and he can be able to chew his foods. Thanks to the doctor and I’m pleased with the great service! I highly recommend La Family dental, the doctors are great, and all the staffs are very friendly.

I am new to the La Costa area and feel very fortunate to have discovered La Costa Family Dental. Dr. Dharia and his staff are outstanding. I’m 84 years young and this is the best Dental services ever. Friendly, professional, and always on time with follow up contact. Highly recommend Dr. Meneet and his staff.

Edited this from 5 stars down to 1. I came to Dr. Dharia for a difficult wisdom tooth extraction consultation—during that visit he said he could either take out half the tooth (coronectomy) or take out the full tooth, but quickly shrugged off the consideration of a coronectomy and recommended I extract all 4 and get 4 bone grafts ($3k+ procedure). Later on, I called to ask to change my procedure from 4 full extractions to two coronectomies after getting input from two different dentists—it took him over a week to finally call me back (just two days before my surgery was scheduled) and he told me he actually couldn’t do a coronectomy after taking a better glance at my scans and recommended me to an oral surgeon. Essentially, this was a huge waste of time and he back tracked on his own advice. Additionally, in between the consult and today, he had me book a cleaning to get a “better assessment” of my teeth before I could book my surgery appointment. That was also a waste of time and money because he wasn’t even there that day and had his clueless hygienist do my cleaning. She also said I had multiple cavities (which wasn’t true). From other reviews, it seems people have had similar experiences with this same hygienist telling them they have cavities when they don’t.

Really happy with the care I’ve gotten here. The team is super thorough and professional, but also kind and down-to-earth. Even with a busy schedule, they always make me feel like they genuinely care. My dentist often reminds me how important it is to keep up with my appointments for my gum health, which I appreciate. They’re also super friendly, easy to talk to, and quick without ever feeling rushed. Highly recommend!
