Lake Periodontics, located at 176 Lake Avenue in Saratoga Springs, New York, provides periodontal and implant care for patients throughout Saratoga County, including those from Queensbury, Malta, and Ballston Spa. The practice offers dental implants as part of its treatment options, along with related procedures such as bone grafting to prepare a strong foundation for implant placement, and All-on-4 and full-arch treatment for patients needing more extensive tooth replacement.

Most patients are referred by their general dentist, and the practice works closely with each patient's dental team to coordinate care. Personalized sedation options, including IV conscious sedation and oral sedation, are available when appropriate to help patients feel comfortable throughout treatment. The office is open Tuesday through Thursday and welcomes questions from anyone considering periodontal or implant care.

Meet the Doctors

Patients at Lake Periodontics are cared for by Dr. Katherine Guilfoyle, DDS, MS, a board certified periodontist who has practiced in the Capital Region since 2014. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and completed a three year residency in periodontology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she served as chief resident and earned a Master of Science in Periodontology. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, and the New York State Dental Association.
