I think if there were ever a cure for PTSD, it would undoubtedly involve the simple acts of compassion, understanding and empathy towards another person.
Every. Single. Team member at Lake View treated me in a way that far surpassed any who came before them.
That’s in no way an insult to any other practice I’ve been to, but more so an acknowledgment that this team just raised the bar on what I know to be outstanding service to a patient. Once who came in as a brand new patient, about an hour after a referral was sent to have six teeth extracted.
Personally, you guys didn’t just go above and beyond, you raised the bar in every way your office could have, and I can’t thank you enough for all your help.

Amazing experience from beginning to end. The staff was so kind and helpful, and the doctor made me feel confident about my treatment. Both of the assistants took their time going over all the after care with my wife. I really appreciated the care, communication, and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend Lake River!

Went in for wisdom teeth removal, the entire staff were amazing. I felt like I was promptly taking care of from consult to day of extraction. Katie helped out with the anesthesia and she was very down to earth and was a pleasure to chat with prior to extraction. I think I spoke a couple of words to Dr. Lazar she extracted them and she was also very easy to work with. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone seeking oral surgery.

My son Antayus wanted to say Thank you to the doctors and also a special thanks to Ms Bobbi !! You guys did a great job and he appreciates you all so much. He said he didn’t remember a lot but he won’t forgot how well you all took care of him. He’s feeling so much better already. God bless you all.

Today I had oral surgery and from the first phone call, I was treated with courtesy, quick responses and a comfortable atmosphere from each person I met. The surgery was quick and they were attentive to all of my needs and without discomfort. I will return for any further needs in the future. Thank you for your kindness and attentiveness. I will highly recommend them

Meet the Doctors
The Vancouver office is led by the practice's two co-founders, both board-certified oral surgeons. Dr. Jonathan Chodroff earned his dental degree at Columbia University and his medical degree at Oregon Health & Science University, where he also completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He has a special interest in minimally invasive techniques and computer-guided surgical planning that help patients recover faster. Dr. Ashley Lazar earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh, completed a surgical internship at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and finished her oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Emory University School of Medicine. She is known for her calm presence and for helping anxious patients feel at ease, and she also teaches at Oregon Health & Science University.
