After over 20 years of not going to the dentist, I have had several appointments at Lalor in Big Flats. Scheduling well in advance is a must, but the staff has been friendly and courteous. My dentist has given me many helpful recommendations. One dental hygienist Amelia has been exceptional in providing kind and quality care. I appreciate the personal interest shown by all staff when they ask simple questions like ‘how is your day going?’ Fortunately I have not have any cavities since my time away from a dentist and hopefully the recommendations will help me stay that way!

I walked in off the street looking to get some help with some tooth pain I was having and immediately greeted with a smile and kindness from Noah at reception. I was able to be worked in, in Dr. Josh’s schedule for an exam and X-rays which I was not expecting. It was a matter of seconds until Kirsten came out and brought my Husband and myself back to a room. Kirsten was extremely sweet and made me feel comfortable which was really nice as I have horrible anxiety when at the dentist. Kirsten has a wonderful way with explaining everything that is going to happen and made sure I was always comfortable. I’ve never had such a wonderful experience hence why I hadn’t been to a dentist in many years. I ended up seeing Dr Josh and he has such an amazing, positive personality. He was very gentle and kind during his exam and I felt at ease. Between he and Kirsten, I felt very well taken care of and comfortable. When my exam was over I checked out with yet another kind person and was told I wouldn’t be charged for today’s exam as my dental insurance looked to have expired a year ago. She very kindly scheduled me for a cleaning and made it seem like it was no big deal about not having me pay, but it was a very big deal to me! I’m so extremely grateful for this wonderful experience and meeting the exceptional staff there at Lalor! Because of this positive interaction, I know I’ll be returning and my old anxieties concerning dental visits is a thing of the past as far as I’m concerned. I totally will be recommending Lalor to anyone who’s looking for dental care.

It's been a long process for me to get much needed dental work after I underwent a very traumatic and painful expirience at another dentist office years ago. Lalor has always been very understanding and attentive to this part of my history but after many years of Lalor, I'm not afraid at the dentist anymore, and I got my smile back. Every staff I have ever encountered at Lalor has been kind and fun to talk to. You're always greeted with a smile, they explain everything (including costs) up front. Lalor is incredible, I am always recommending them to family and friends!

It was a great experience. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They had my son in for a procedure and put some cartoons on for him to watch. He said that they walked him through the process of what they were doing and made him feel very comfortable. It's so important finding a place like this that cares about their patients and ensuring kids that the dentist isn't a scary place to be. Highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of receiving care from Ms. Carmen Bates and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Ms Bates’ professionalism, expertise, and genuine care were immediately evident. Ms. Bates performed a thorough and meticulous cleaning while maintaining exceptional gentleness throughout the procedure especially for me as I have a very sensitive mouth all around. She had continuous communication and explained each step clearly, adjusted her approach based on my feedback, and ensured my comfort at every stage. The results were outstanding—my teeth feel remarkably clean and smooth, and any minor staining was effectively removed without discomfort. Beyond her clinical proficiency, Ms Bates demonstrated a combination of technical skill and compassionate bedside manner. She took the time to discuss my oral health concerns, offered practical and personalized advice for home care, offered a consultation visit with a periodontist and answered all my questions with clarity and patience. Her calm and reassuring demeanor transformed what is often an anxiety-inducing appointment into a positive experience. It is evident that Ms. Bates is deeply committed to her profession and her patients’ well-being. I absolutely had an A+++++ experience. I left the appointment not only with improved oral health but also with greater confidence in maintaining it. I will continue to request her specifically for future visits and will definitely recommend her to family, friends, and colleagues.
