Aweful experience. I had scheduled an exam and cleaning. I arrived before 11 am. Had to wait around 15 minutes past the appointment time to get X-rays done. Then I had to wait in a room for the hygienist to check my teeth. He then said I needed a deep cleaning which would not be fully covered by my insurance, not standard cleaning which would have been fully covered. I have exams and cleanings every 6 months, went through a different dentist for years and never had them say I need a deep cleaning. The dentist came in and saw my teeth and said they looked perfectly fine. Over 90 minutes after my appointment time, they then said I would have to get my cleaning a different day and that I was never going to get one the same day. They completely wasted my time. I had to insist that I get my teeth cleaned the same day, and I had to then come back an hour later to finally get it cleaned. The cleaning was less than standard cleaning, and only used water cleaning but not actual metal picks too. The co-owner/boss was nice, but extremely unhelpful. I told her this was the worst dentist experience I've ever had, that it was a scam they told me that I had to have deep cleaning and I wasn't allowed to have standard cleaning. I had to insist on getting my teeth cleaned, the standard cleaning, the same day or they never would have. The dentist and hygienist went out for lunch and I had to leave for an hour and then come back to finally get my teeth cleaned. I was furious that they got to go have lunch but I had to starve until after finally getting my teeth cleaned an hour later. Lost over 3 hours to get this done. Also the co-owner sounded like she didn't even care about my business at their facility. I assured her that I and the rest of my family would never come back, and that she just lost our money. She didn't care. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend finding a different dentist.

I’ve been coming to Lancaster Modern Dentistry for a few years now and i absolutely love the office manager Mallory. She is always so sweet and helpful. Explains all my treatment and the Drs here are gentle and sweet! The front and back staff make my family and I feel like family. I would recommend everyone I know to come here for all their dental needs.

First time here and I must say everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Mallory did an amazing job at explaining my dental treatment plan. I work for Lockheed and I will be recommending all my co workers to come here for all their dental needs. Dr Ortega will forever be my dentist!

I brought my family here the dentist was very gentle and detailed. Mallory was kind enough to help me and my family with our co pays and create an affordable payment plan that worked for me. I will continue to bring my family here. Brenda was very kind and took care of my daughters.

Dr Ortega and staff are very professional and show great concern for patient care. My experience in the office has been spectacular! All my treatment was explained to me and Mallory was excellent with explaining all my cost and provided all I needed.
