It was my first time and it was amazing. The waiting area doesn't look like a dental office. Dr. Tajikistan is amazing. She's so nice and told me what she thinks my treatment plan needed to be. I highly recommend Laurel Laser Dentistry especially if you're nervous about going to the dentist like I am.

I’ve had the worst fear of the dentist because of TN until I started coming here eight months ago this team is so passionate about the work they do and ensuring you are comfortable. Michelle is absolutely amazing and the doctor is phenomenal..

How can a dental appointment be pleasant right? With LLD my mind is always at ease from the warm reception when you walk in, to the calming/friendly interactioms with the entire team. They make you feel like you're their only patient; taking time to educate you on process, plans, and follow ups...making you comfortable from start to finish. I'm smiling more confidently with Laurel Laser Dentistry!

I have been coming here for 25 years and they're the best dentist by far. On Fridays, I get a special treat and that's Jemma is there too. Jemma is the sweetest golden retriever and such a calming presence at the dentist office.

Every visit has been a great experience! I’m typically anxious during dental visits, but Laurel laser dentistry provides superb bedside manner, which alleviates a lot of mental tension. Their practice does a great breakdown on treatment plans. The staff is extremely friendly, warm, and welcoming.

Laurel Laser Dentistry is a general dental practice in Laurel, Maryland, offering comprehensive family dental care alongside specialized services such as dental implants, gum disease treatment, root canals, and wisdom teeth extractions. For patients considering dental implants, the practice notes that implant crowns feel and look like real teeth and can painlessly restore missing teeth. The practice also offers All-on-4 dentures, which use four implants to support a full set of replacement teeth, addressing concerns about slipping or discomfort with traditional dentures.
The practice describes its team as including in-house specialists, a periodontist, an oral surgeon, and an endodontist, who are available to answer questions about procedures such as root canals, gum surgery, or implant placement. Candidates for dental implants need healthy gums and enough bone to support the implant, and the practice notes the process typically takes several months to allow the implant to integrate with the bone before the crown is placed. Laurel Laser Dentistry also offers a membership plan for patients without insurance, which includes preventive care and discounts on restorative and specialist services.
The practice's clinical team includes Dr. Gita Tajick, the principal dentist, who has practiced dentistry since 1997 and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Southern Maryland Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the World Clinical Laser Institute. The team also includes Dr. Robin Pollack, a periodontist who is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and has experience in periodontics and implantology, Dr. Joy Chen, DMD, MD, a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon whose practice includes dentoalveolar surgery, implants, bone grafting, and guided implant surgery, and Dr. Eiman Khalili, an endodontist who specializes in root canal treatments with a focus on preserving natural teeth.
