I truly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Manthos. From my initial consultation to my wisdom teeth removal and post op visit, every appointment has been such a positive experience. She is extremely informative and explains everything in a way that is easy to understand, which made me feel so much more at ease. She made me feel comfortable the entire time. Her personality is amazing, she is so sweet, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her patients. Even my dad really liked her, which says a lot. The office staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, and her office itself is so cute and comforting. If you are nervous about getting your teeth out, she truly makes the experience as easy and stress free as possible. Highly recommend.

My 17 YO daughter had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted. Dr. Manthos clearly explains the procedure, potential risks and recovery process. The doctor made my daughter feel very comfortable from start to end with the procedure, which can be an anxiety filled journey. I had a question after the surgery, which landed on a Sunday morning. I left a message with her calling service & Dr. Manthos called me back within minutes. She gave me instructions and then followed up with another call later on Sunday afternoon to make sure everything was ok. She cares about her patients. She is respected in the community and has an excellent reputation as being one of the best oral surgeons in the area. I highly recommend Dr. Manthos.

this is my second time seeing Dr Manthos. I had my bottom wisdom teeth removed and then my top ones removed a few years later. Both experiences were positive. The process was very smooth, I had very little pain from the procedure(s). Dr Manthos was comforting before and after the procedure, answering all my questions/concerns. I highly recommend her.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Manthos! She is by far the best oral surgeon I’ve ever had. Dr. Manthos performed both of my children’s wisdom teeth removals with exceptional care and skill, and she also took care of a tricky tooth of mine—an old root canal that had broken. The entire experience was smooth, and recovery was excellent for all of us. Her professionalism, expertise, and compassionate approach made what could have been a stressful experience much easier. I highly recommend Dr. Manthos to anyone needing dental care!

I had a wisdom tooth removed recently and the experience form stray to finish was exceptional in my opinion. I had been in some pain for two weeks whilst waiting to see an oral surgeon. During the consultation Dr Manthos prescribed an antibiotic for me which cleared the pain within 24 hrs. I was able to get an appointment within 4 days for the extraction. The extraction was as efficient as these procedures can be, Dr Manthos has explained the procedure very clearly and did so at various points through the extraction. I could not have been in better hands, post removal y re talent palm was very clear too and a week later stitches out and gum healing nicely. Overall I was really happy with Dr Manthos and her staff. Dr Manthos is highly skilled, professional, empathic and a warm personality. I highly recommend this practice. Final comment - some of the reviews here mention rude/cold front desk staff. I found them perfectly professional and easy to deal with. Not over the top friendly but perfectly efficient. That works for me!

About Laurie Manthos DMD

Laurie Manthos DMD is an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice located at 200 Lincoln Street, Suite 1, in Worcester, Massachusetts. The office serves patients from across Worcester County, including Auburn, Shrewsbury, Holden, Grafton, Millbury, Westborough, Northborough, and surrounding towns. Beyond implant placement, the practice provides the supporting surgical procedures that implant patients often need, including dental bone grafting, ridge augmentation, socket preservation, and pre-prosthetic surgery to prepare the jaw for replacement teeth. Other services include wisdom tooth removal, tooth extractions, oral pathology, treatment of impacted canines, facial trauma care, and frenectomy. The office uses 3D cone beam computed tomography scans when appropriate and offers several anesthesia options, including intravenous sedation and general anesthesia with modern monitoring equipment. The practice describes its approach as treating every patient with respect and like family, and it is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with phones answered Wednesday mornings.
