My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed here. Everything went well I would recommend this place. My only problem was when you go to check as a new patient the waiting room has 3 windows. I walked up to the first window I saw and was completely ignored by the woman there. This woman was not on a phone call, she looked at me and ignored me. There are no signs saying which window is check in. Luckily the nice lady at the middle window eventually saw me and got us checked in quickly. Otherwise great staff. The lady at check out was so sweet.

This will probably be long because I have so many great things to say. I was referred to this oral surgery practice by my dentist after I finally had to admit that all 4 wisdom teeth needed to come out. I’d been avoiding it for decades. But they really started causing problems, especially the horizontal ones. I was really hesitant and nervous to go through with it. When I went for the consultation on a Thursday, my nerves eased a little bit. The staff was warm, nurturing, and welcoming, and the surgeon seemed like he really knew his stuff, he exuded confidence, and I therefore felt confident that I was in good hands. We scheduled the surgery for the following Monday. That was yesterday. I was prescribed one Valium to take an hour before the appointment time. I never had it before and it was really nice, calmed me but allowed me to stay present and in control. I was taken into the room, everyone was very kind and all ready for my arrival. I got the IV sedation put in my arm, didn’t hurt one bit and I was immediately out. Next thing I knew I was awake, little groggy but aware of my surroundings, and I didn’t even realize it was over as someone helped me onto the wheelchair. My appointment was at 11am and by around 11:30am I was being wheeled out to my Mom’s car, we were all done. I was giddy and grateful that it was such a great experience. In my aware yet still drugged out state I’m pretty sure I said I love you to a few staff members 😂 They deserve all the praise they can get, they were all so wonderful and I’m so happy I had a genuinely good experience. I remember FaceTiming my sister on my ride home, she was cautious and concerned and asked how I was doing, and through the gauze in my mouth I said “I had a great time! It was so much fun!” And I meant it! When I got home I slept a couple hours and felt fine. Woke up today with some soreness but nothing at all really painful. Thank you to everyone in this office who took such great care of me and made a usually scary experience so pleasurable and comfortable. ❤️

Thank you, Dr. Neuwirth and all of your staff! Had a tooth extraction here yesterday and very pleased with how it went. Had a consult on 5/26 and they offered to extract as early as 5/29 but I had a schedule conflict that day so we scheduled it for 6/5, instead. I had the same tooth on the other side extracted maybe 10 yrs ago at a different dentist in FL, but the dentist in FL didn’t want to extract the other because they believed in keeping teeth at any and all costs. However, a good provider weighs all the costs, patient history, and long term results to make appropriate medical decision, and in the best interest of their patient. My second molars on top of my mouth have always given me issues, had them filled several times, they were growing into my first molars and cracking, and I wasn’t interested in getting braces again or a root canal there, so extraction was what made the most sense to me. They made me comfortable before sedation, gave adequate post op instructions, the pain has been very manageable so far, and he even called me this morning to see how I was recovering. Preventative care is so important, so always maintain that with regular dental cleanings if you can to try and avoid extractions, but sometimes they are necessary in the long run. I hope I won’t need anymore extractions in the future haha, but Legacy OFS is definitely the place to go!
