No one wants to get oral surgery, but if you have to, Dr. Peter Rosa and his team at Lenox Hill are outstanding. From the warm and welcoming receptionist to the extremely patient assistants, the service and care was excellent. They are gracious in their clear explanations before, during, and after the procedure. They answer any questions, even if you have a lot of them, and they are accommodating to special circumstances. I also had one appointment at their office in Queens and the staff there was also excellent.

I wish I had more wisdom teeth Dr Rosa could remove! He was knowledgable and patient throughout the entire process from consultation to procedure. He carefully explained why we were doing it the way we did. When I woke up too quickly at the end of the procedure (natural redhead lol), he compassionately and swiftly readjusted the anesthesia dosage. He personally called me a day or two after my surgery to check on my healing process. Great team!

The treatment I received here was excellent. I was referred by my dentist to this practice for my wisdom teeth extraction, I will admit I was terrified at first to have the procedure done as both my bottom teeth were impacted but the staff was caring and reassuring it would go great. My doctor did an amazing job of listening to me and my concerns, even advocated for extra medication to help with the discomfort by request. It’s now been more than a week since my extraction and I’m back to eating normally and so happy I got it over with. My sister will be coming to the same practice for her extraction as well 10/10 would recommend.

Could not speak more highly of Dr Soletic and the entire Lenox Hill Oral Surgery team. I was under a time crunch and not only did they work around my schedule, my entire procedure was explained clearly and the process from start to finish was executed flawlessly! Would ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!

Last year this place scammed me out of $1,500. The receptionist, I believe her name started with a D, lied over the phone and said she had sent off my claim to the “clearing house” (a phrase I had never heard of before) to be refunded. A few days later, after the insurance company informed me they never received anything from the provider, the receptionist then said she never sent anything to the clearing house and accused me of making that up. (Again, I’d never heard of that term until that phone call- how could I possibly have made that up). The office gave me one Tax ID number when I was checking to see if I would be covered, and then submitted a different Tax ID number when the actual procedure was done, which meant that my insurance company would not reimburse it. An office full of scammers. In trying to follow up about this, they put me through hell and refused to correct the issue with the Tax ID number. This scam is purposeful because they are able to charge more when a procedure is not covered by insurance. DO NOT GO HERE!

About Lenox Hill Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Advanced Dental Implants
Lenox Hill Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Advanced Dental Implants is located in a medical suite on East 76th Street on Manhattan's Upper East Side, with a second office in the Bayside area of Queens. The practice focuses on oral and maxillofacial surgery, offering wisdom teeth removal, tooth extractions, bone grafting, jaw surgery, and a full range of dental implant treatments, including single implants and full-arch options like All-on-4. Patients considering implants can expect a surgical team with formal training in oral and maxillofacial surgery rather than a general dentistry approach to placement.
The practice is led by Dr. Peter Rosa, DDS, MD, FACS, and Dr. Scott Goldstein, MS, DDS, who together bring decades of combined surgical experience to the Upper East Side and Bayside offices. For patients missing some or all of their teeth, the team evaluates candidacy for implant supported bridges and full-arch rehabilitation, aiming to restore both function and appearance. Because the Upper East Side location shares doctors and scheduling with the Bayside office, patients booking a consultation should confirm which surgeon and which office they will be seen at.
