I would like to leave a review for Lincoln Oral Surgery. Dr. Henry is truly the most phenomenal surgeon and doctor I’ve met in over 25 years. He is not only exceptionally knowledgeable and qualified, but his compassion and dedication to his work are obvious in everything he does.
Dr. Henry carries himself with so much respect for both his colleagues and his patients. His professionalism, kindness, and skill make him someone I trust completely with any surgery I may need or want.
Lincoln Oral Surgery is fortunate to have a doctor like Dr. Henry, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

We called for a consult on behalf of our son. The staff were helpful, informative and considerate throughout the whole process. We were able to get in quickly and our son received phenomenal care from Dr. Henry and all staff.

Thank you, Dr. Henry, for giving me hope when I thought I had none left. I truly didn’t think I would find anyone who could help me. I had been turned away by many dentists and oral surgeons, and I honestly started to feel hopeless. I even worried I might die from a tooth infection, because I’ve seen firsthand how serious that can be. When I came to Dr. Henry, I was met with compassion, understanding, and a team who did not make me feel embarrassed or ashamed of my teeth. They recognized that I do my best to take care of them but sometimes you just end up with “bad teeth”, and instead of judgment, I was given kindness and made too feel safe.
My procedure didn’t go exactly as planned, but Dr. Henry knew exactly what to do and handled it with confidence and skill. Dr. Henry is not only incredibly skilled but also very down-to-earth and easy to talk to. He explained everything clearly, kept me calm, and made sure I felt cared for every step of the way. I’m so grateful for the care and compassion you showed—I finally feel like I was in the right hands. Recovery was so much smoother than I ever expected, and I’m just so grateful to finally have found someone who truly helped me.
If you’re in Lincoln and need oral surgery, I can’t recommend Dr. Henry enough. He and his team are not only experts at what they do, but they also treat you with respect, compassion, and genuine care.

I recently had extractions done as part of preparing for djs with Dr. Henry. The entire staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. Dr.henry is professional kind and easy to talk to. The front office coordinator is also very attentive and helpful, which made everything go smoothly. I definitely recommend this oral surgeon to anyone in need of care.

Meet the Doctors
Dr. Mitchell J. Henry, DDS, MD, leads the practice and has over 20 years of experience as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon in Lincoln. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry in 1987 and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1990. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he served as chief resident, and also completed a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Penn State University. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and serves as a clinical adjunct professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
