Dr. Lionel M. Candelaria, DDS, FACS, is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon at this location. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of New Mexico and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Missouri at Kansas City, followed by an internship at Balboa Naval Hospital and a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Tennessee. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and he served as a Navy Captain before returning to Albuquerque to practice.
