Dr. Brian Mooney and the team at Litchfield Hills Family Dental Practice provide an exceptional patient experience. From the moment you walk in, the staff is welcoming, professional, and attentive, and the office is impeccably clean and well-organized. Dr. Mooney and his team consistently demonstrate a high level of care and compassion, ensuring patients feel comfortable and never self-conscious about their dental needs. The quality of treatment I received was outstanding. I highly recommend Dr. Mooney and the entire team for comprehensive, family-centered dental care.

I had been searching for a dental practice that specialized in dental implants for the last two years. My mouth was in horrible shape. I had broken teeth , lots of missing teeth, teeth decaying at the gum line...etc. Not only has this been crippling to my self esteem but my mouth in essence was non functional. I had no collusion of teeth to break down my food, there was constant pain/infections, and by being forced to swallow large food items I ended up with digestion problems. Finally the feeling that it must be hard for others to take you seriously when the appearance of your mouth/smile is in such disarray really causes mental havoc. This procedure was going to be a big investment and I had to make sure (as you can anyway) that I selected the right dentist. I had been to clearchoice, nuvia, and a couple large practices in Hartford in New Haven. During my consultations I made sure that first and foremost the medical/health concerns were going to be addressed by whatever solution. Obviously...I wanted a good looking smile....but what is that if I still can't chew and properly digest my foods. Needless to say 3 of the 4 told me I had bone loss on my upper jaw but were willing to stop the upper implant just past my eye teeth. ...So in other words never your health concerns we want to sell you implants. This was so disheartening that these "Dr's"...only saw me as a potential sale. One of them said my bone was fine and was ready for me to sign on the dotted line. Sick to my stomach and disheartened I walked out. When i went for my initial consultation with Dr. Brian Mooney I kind of expected to have a similar experience. What was supposed to be a set of x-rays and quick discussion about my options turned into about a two hour appointment. Dr. Mooney was thorough, honest, professional, and compassionate. I knew that I had found my dentist. The confidence I had in him based on that first meeting has proven to be accurate. Last Friday Dr Mooney began the real work on my mouth. In one appointment he performed a bi-lateral sinus procedure on me, removed all remaining teeth from my mouth, started the bone grafting needed to build up my upper jaw, performed a blood draw using my own red blood cells to aid in bone graft, placed 5 anchors in my mouth, and at the end of this I walked out with a complete set of teeth in my mouth. The most amazing thing about all of this which took 4+ hours was I was only given two oral sedation pills taken 1 hour prior and I didn't know that he did half the procedures I just listed. The only follow up pain medication I took was Ibuprofen 400mg and antibiotics. I never felt at any time during the healing that i needed anything more. His work was performed meticulously with care. I can honestly say that during the procedure itself there really was no discomfort to speak of.
Dr. Mooney is an amazing dentist, that is for sure, but more than that he is a confident yet humble man who sings the praises of his family. I consider Dr. Mooney my friend and feel blessed to be a part of Litchfield Hills Family Dental. Christina his assistant is also very kind, compassionate, and professional. I hug my dentist...When is the last time you hugged your dentist!

Dr. Brian Mooney is an excellent Dentist. He does great dental work and is very skilled, in fact, I consider him to be a perfectionist.
If I have any concerns about my teeth he listens very well and then explains very well.
He also is very kind.
He is also great to talk to.

Cristina did my x-rays and a scan. She was very helpful and did a great job.
May is very nice and helpful. She always has a smile to share.
Nora was very good since my jaw was shaking while she cleaned my teeth and she made sure I was okay.
Dr. Mooney has worked on my teeth many, many, many times and I have never had a problem.
If you want quality dental care and want to be in a great environment then go see Dr. Mooney.

Outstanding practice. As with many Americans I have horrible anxiety when it relates to any sort of dental work. Dr. Mooney and staff made me feel incredibly comfortable throughout my procedure. 5 stars

Dr. Mooney and his staff are exemplary. The office is a welcoming and warm place. Dr. Mooney is unfailingly thoughtful and concerned for his patient's comfort. Recently I complete nine months of prep for an implant. It was a long process, but the implant feels like it has always been in my mouth. Dr. Mooney is an artist and uses his amazing technology with familiarity and talent. Christina, his right hand, is equally caring and they work well together. I highly recommend this practice.
