What a great experience from the moment I walked in the door! The staff were so kind and helpful. Dr Ripperger explained everything in detail and spent all the time I needed to make sure I fully understood the surgery. He made sure I was comfortable and pain free before he began and kept asking if I could feel anything during. He was very confident and did a perfect job. He also called to check on me that evening, I haven’t had a Dr do that in years! I am now a patient for life.
I highly recommend Dr Ripperger and his staff at Lone Star Oral Surgery in Amarillo.

They are very professional kind and very informative! I had been recommended from my dentist Dr. Short to go see these guys to get my wisdom teeth surgically removed and man I’m NOT disappointed!!!
All the questions and concerns I had were answered accordingly and everything they did from the consult all the way to the day of surgery they told me step by step why and what was going on and that made me feel very safe. Next thing I know I woke up without wisdom teeth numbed up with a mouth full of gauze. They took care of me through the entire process! Dr. Atkins was awesome very professional and got it done quick! My Nurse who was on his team was kind sweet and made me comfortable and safe and made sure I had everything I needed. If you are looking for a Great oral surgeon office this is the place!!

Highly recommend!! I went in for a 2:00 appointment for a tooth extraction and walked out at 3 with procedure complete and prescriptions already called in to my pharmacy! The Dr was friendly, explained what he was doing, checked throughout the procedure ensuring I was pain free and made a terrifying situation for me completely tolerable. I’m praying I never have to have another one but if I do, it will hands down be done at LoneStar and by Dr Atkins!

My family highly recommends Lone Star! The staff are friendly and accommodating. The office is clean, organized, and well managed. Dr. Atkins and his team put us at ease before the procedure and he checked with my daughter throughout to make sure she was comfortable. If you are looking for top quality care, this is the right place.

Dr. Atkins removed my wisdom teeth a little over a month ago & couldn’t have had a better experience! I was terrified, and it was super easy. My recovery was easy too. He’s great, his team is great. I recommend them 1000000x over!
