I went for my first visit to Lyme Road Dental after it was recommended by a friend and I could not have been more pleased. Every member of the staff I dealt with was friendly, professional, and helpful. The office is spotless and very well equipped. Dr. Melkers was great. He made me feel very comfortable and completed the most comprehensive dental exam I have experienced with the very capable aid of his assistant. If you are looking for a dentist I could certainly recommend Lyme Road Dental.

Excellent care from everyone in the office! I’ve had many dentists in the many places I’ve lived. Lyme Road Dental is the best all around. I appreciate the time and thoughtful communication, whether in for simple cleaning, cosmetic repair or more complex surgery. I always feel completely confident.

I love going to Dr. Wonsavage and the Lyme Road Dental practice because I have received excellent dental care, and because the doctors and staff are so friendly! Everything about their practice is positive, and I have been to dozens of dentists over the years!
They do a careful assessment of the state of your teeth, give you a clear account of what is needed, and tell you exactly what it is going to cost. In my experience, they have never recommended an unnecessary procedure, and are sensitive to financial considerations.
Though my husband and I have moved an hour and a half away from Lyme Road Dental, we continue to see Dr. Wonsavage and his team for all our dental needs, including teeth cleanings. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate their care!!! A+++

My family and I have been going to Lyme Road Dental for several years now and I can't say enough good things! They make each appointment so pleasant and easy. Melissa and Dr. Wonsavage are both incredibly kind and provide great care each time I come in.

About Lyme Road Dental
Lyme Road Dental is a family and cosmetic dentistry practice at 71 Lyme Road in Hanover, New Hampshire, serving patients from Hanover, Lebanon, Norwich, Vermont, and White River Junction, Vermont. The practice describes itself as designed specifically to help people with significant, long term dental problems, while always welcoming healthy new patients as well. Dental implants are offered as part of its cosmetic and reconstruction dentistry, alongside dental surgery, crowns and bridges, inlays and onlays, porcelain veneers, metal-free fillings, teeth whitening, smile design, and partial and full dentures. Family and preventive care includes routine cleanings and exams, sealants, non-surgical gum therapy, sleep apnea treatment, and treatment for jaw joint (TMJ) disorders.

Lyme Road Dental is led by Dr. Michael Melkers, DDS, MAGD, and Dr. Paul Wonsavage, DDS, MAGD. Both dentists have earned Mastership with the Academy of General Dentistry, which the practice notes only about 3 percent of dentists nationwide have achieved. Dr. Melkers comes from a family of dental professionals and balances private practice with teaching, research, and publishing, including lecturing to dentists worldwide on modern techniques and technologies. Dr. Wonsavage focuses on treatment plans tailored to each individual patient, with the goal of minimizing the time patients spend in the dental chair over a lifetime, and he reviews manuscripts for the Academy of General Dentistry.
