Dr. Dani is truly amazing! My baby was born with lip and tongue ties and wasn’t transferring milk well with breastfeeding. I took her to Dr. Dani at 3 weeks old and she released her ties and my baby was able to latch immediately after and I could tell huge difference in her latch and I could actually hear her swallowing milk from the breast! Highly recommend Dr. Dani if your baby is having breastfeeding issues related to ties, you won’t regret it!

Had a wonderful experience at Mace Dental. The entire staff is warm, professional, and welcoming. The office is clean and modern. They’ve absolutely snagged another long term patient.

From the day my son was born, I thought he had a tongue tie. I asked his doctors but no one seemed to think it was the cause of his problems with feeding. Finally I decided to take my 4 month old to Mace Dental to see what they thought. Sure enough my son had a very thick tongue tie and a lip tie. Dr. Mace took care of it that day. They were absolutely wonderful with my son. Dr. Mace is such a sweet woman. She, and her entire staff, are so amazing with children. The front desk staff seem so happy and are warm & welcoming. Immediately after the procedure, my son started feeding better. He has been able to hold a latch instead of sliding off his bottle and clicking constantly. He is far less gassy and eats more efficiently. My son sleeps better now, he is less noisy while sleeping, doesn’t snore anymore, and seems to get deeper rest. He wakes up fewer times through the night. Before the procedure he was a terrible sleeper. About two hours after the procedure, my son suddenly started babbling constantly. I truly believe if we had waited, my son would’ve experienced speech delays. Within days of the procedure I noticed my son had less reflux, was less colicky, and overall seemed happier. It’s been 5 weeks since his procedure and I can honestly say I have a happier, restful, talkative son because of Mace Dental. If you’re on the fence about getting your child’s oral ties released, definitely take them to Mace Dental! You won’t regret it.

Our 21 month old daughter had a great first dentist visit. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. The office is beautiful and clean. The kids play room is a wonderful amenity. We highly recommend this practice for children.

The most respectful and polite staff! Beautiful building and atmosphere as well! I had a time sensitive situation as a new patient and they squeezed me in on the spot. This was my first experience with them, and I see why they were so highly recommended by a friend! Congratulations to the front desk and dentistry staff on achieving excellence in your customer service! I'm sincerely beyond impressed!!

Mace Dental is a family owned general and implant dentistry practice located on Venture Drive in Morgantown, West Virginia, serving Morgantown and the surrounding areas. For patients considering dental implants, the practice offers complete implant therapy in one office, from tooth removal and bone grafting when needed, to surgical placement of the implant and the final crown. An implant is a small titanium post that acts like the root of a tooth and supports a new tooth that can look and function like a natural one. The practice works with Straumann brand dental implants and notes that treatment can range from replacing a single tooth to restoring an entire mouth.
Beyond implants, Mace Dental provides general and family care, children's dentistry, Invisalign clear aligners, sedation options, and Botox and dermal filler services. Dr. Danielle Mace teaches in the pediatric dental department at WVU two days a week, is a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics trained in Botox and dermal filler therapy, and is trained with Invisalign. Dr. Garrett Heck, originally from Martinsburg, West Virginia, graduated from the WVU School of Dentistry and completed two years of General Practice Residency training in Canton, Ohio, serving as Chief Resident in his second year. He also serves as faculty in the diagnostic services department at the WVU dental school.
