This was the best dental experience I have ever had. The women working at the front desk were kind and very helpful. The dental assistant who took my X-rays was very gentle and explained everything she was doing. The Doctor explained everything she found and what I needed done. I didn’t feel I was being sold services. The hygienist was the best. He explained everything and I was able to relax during the cleaning! I’m a nervous patient and they all put me at ease!

I always have the best experience at MAI Dental Care. Their customer service truly stands out—they treat you like family, not just another patient. What really sets them apart is the thoughtful, kind-hearted touches, like their birthday texts. It may seem small, but it genuinely made me feel appreciated and cared for. Highly recommend!

I’ve made three different appointments here. Each time, I was attended to as soon as I signed in. The dentists answered all my questions and gave me advice on what needed to be done to help my teeth. The receptionists provided me with a quote breaking down the price of everything and letting me confirm what I wanted to do. I got my fillings re-done and since then I don’t feel sensitivity in my teeth when eating sweet food anymore. When I asked for a copy of my dental records, I received an email within the same day including copies of my X-ray scans. Everyone was very kind.
Edit: while the sensitivity went away, a few weeks later I do feel occasional sensitivity when I eat sweet foods, so I’m seeing if the problem resolves over time or if I’ll need another consultation.

I feel extremely lucky to have found Mai Dental here in Santa Maria.
Dr. Sheeran is an expert dentist and surgeon who will treat you with kindness and respect. My tooth extractions were painless and I am well on my way to receiving dental implants. I am an elder and needed a lot of care and am thrilled with the outcome of my treatment.
