Dr. Kang and the team here have been great. Had my lower wisdom teeth extracted. The initial consultation gave me all the information and confidence to trust that I was in good hands. I had no complications and they were quick to call back if I had any questions/concerns pre and post-surgery.

The team here has provided incredible care for all my teens’ wisdom teeth removals. When I had a wisdom tooth kick up issues, this is where I asked to be referred to. From the honest advice on the phone about how to best handle my referral, to the care to get me seen, through the consult with the doctor, it’s clear this office culture puts their patients first. Highly recommend.

If I could give a negative number, I would. They don't even deserve a zero. Dr Wang did not care at all that I was having pain. He didn't believe me, told me to take meds that i couldn't take, that negatively interacted with one of my regular meds. He never checked. Then he was accusatory when I suggested it was a dry socket. He did not help. He did not ask what was wrong. He treated me like i was lying. Thankfully I've run out of wisdom teeth and won't ever have to see him again. Highly recommend finding someone else to go to.

The surgeon is exceptional. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the front office staff. I initially gave the benefit of the doubt, assuming I may have encountered someone having a bad day. However, after multiple interactions over an extended period of time—both for myself and while assisting clients as a case manager—the pattern has remained the same. The staff are routinely dismissive and frequently interrupt callers before they can finish speaking. Interactions often feel robotic and transactional, as though the goal is simply to get through the conversation rather than actually listen to or assist the person on the other end of the phone. There is little effort to engage, clarify concerns, or provide the level of professionalism and empathy that patients deserve. Instead of feeling heard, callers are often left feeling rushed, disregarded, and frustrated. Every time I have to contact this office, I find myself dreading the interaction because I know I am unlikely to be treated with basic courtesy or respect. One particularly troubling interaction occurred while I was coordinating care for an individual experiencing homelessness. Despite my role as a professional case manager and my access to the individual's verified information through an electronic health record, the front desk staff completely disregarded my professional input and spoke to me in a condescending manner. Rather than working collaboratively to help a vulnerable patient access care, I was met with unnecessary resistance and disrespect. As someone who works every day with some of the most vulnerable members of our community, I understand that healthcare is stressful and that offices are often busy. What I do not understand is the consistent lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic customer service demonstrated by the front desk staff. In the midst of Maine's ongoing dental access crisis, patients and providers alike deserve to be treated with dignity. The surgeon's skill and quality of care are the only reasons I continue to recommend this practice. The office staff, however, are doing a tremendous disservice to an otherwise outstanding provider.

I can’t begin to say how happy I am with this dental practice, my wife had three teeth pulled this morning she is also suffering from Alzheimer’s disease middle stages, most people don’t understand this disease and treat those that have it almost to the point of being rude. Everyone today treated her with the utmost courtesy and respect and helped her through this Thank You Dr Wang and your entire team from the lady at the front desk and those working in the back, I. Wish I got some names so I could thank each one of you but you know who you are. Again Thanks so very much
