Dr. Maltz is caring and professional in all aspects. He takes the time to explain and works to make sure of the best outcome. Dr. Maltz makes me feel comfortable and follows up after procedure. He is the best at what he does for sure.

I am always nervous about any new procedures. That being said, Dr. Maltz always makes me feel at ease. I have not had an unpleasant experience since Ive been going to him. I appreciate the follow up phone call the next day to see how I am doing.

The clinic made a special effort to get me in, as I was in great pain from a cracked tooth and infected gum. Within half hour of arriving the tooth had been extracted and I was on antibiotics. Every staff member was extremely courteous, the doctor exceptionally talented. I totally and honestly can recommend this dental practice.

I felt like the Iranian war was going on in my head. My tooth, my ear and my head had me damn near in tears. I was miserable until I went to this dentist. The staff was empathic to my needs after being made aware I’m terrified of dentist. Dr Maltz and staff ensured me I was gonna be fine and then he did it. Took out my tooth in under 5 minutes. I felt like I lost 200 pounds of pain. I felt so much better that night and the following day. I’m happy. I’m reborn. I even think if I had to go back to the dentist I would only go back to Dr. Maltz. No one else. Thanks so much for my new beginning. Your a godsend

I got squeezed in at the last miute as I was having issues with a tooth that Dr. Maltz had worked on many years ago. The office is just so accomodating and Dr. Maltz is so gentle, besides wanting me to take a non invasive approach to hopefully negate the need for periodontal surgery.

About Maltz Periodontics & Implants PC
Maltz Periodontics & Implants P.C. is a periodontal and dental implant practice with an office at 22 Mulberry Street in Middletown, New York, along with sister offices in New City and Poughkeepsie. The practice describes its mission as helping patients live healthier lives in a caring, nurturing environment where comfort and health come first. Its clinical focus is the full scope of periodontics, which is the specialty dealing with the gums and the bone that supports the teeth. Services listed on the practice's website include dental implants, gum grafting, crown lengthening, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, bite adjustment, reduction surgery, guided bone and tissue regeneration, and cosmetic periodontal surgery.
For patients considering dental implants, the practice covers single tooth and multiple tooth replacement, options for people missing all of their upper or lower teeth, implant supported overdentures, and bone grafting procedures such as ridge augmentation, sinus augmentation, and socket preservation to prepare the jaw for implants. The website explains that in many cases a temporary replacement tooth can be attached to an implant immediately after placement, and that implant treatment is a team effort between the periodontist, who places the implant, and the patient's restorative dentist, who makes the final teeth. The practice says it is in network with a variety of insurance plans, provides up-front cost information, offers financing options, and invites anxious patients to ask about dental sedation options. The Middletown office is open Monday and Wednesday from 9 to 6 and Friday from 9 to 3.
