(I didn't know it would be that easy.) That's what I was saying to myself as I was leaving and walking to my truck. I haven't been to a dentist in over 10 years. These people were so nice. They made me feel welcome and comfortable. They kept me informed about what needs to be done and what they were doing. Dr Brockhouse gave me choices. And helped me decide which was the best for me. They provided me a price list which was not as bad as I thought was going to be. I don't know how you could find a better dentist office.

My 5 year old struggles with going to the dentist, let's face it going to the dentist is kind of scary. Everyone in the office makes her feel safe, comfortable and are very very understanding. She has had to have several visits as to not push too much on her at once and she always is willing to go. In my eyes that mean something! I unfortunately can't go back when doing her procedures so it's good to hear her said they hold her hang when she is uncomfortable and they are always so nice. I would definitely recommend!!

We needed to switch dentists and thought we would try Maple Shade in East Peoria. Lindsey was wonderful at the front desk. I was seen at my exact appointment time. Briana was very helpful. Ashley was very in tune to my dental health and really walked me through each step along the way. Dr Brockhouse was absolutely wonderful. Fixed a cavity, addressed all my questions and honestly in 56 years I’ve not had a better experience at a dentists office. I highly recommend Maple Shade. Thank you Bill kelch.

Dr Shanahan was very comforting, and non judgmental. She explained everything in simple terms that were easy to follow. I have PTSD and she saw to it I was comfortable throughout the entire process. Have NO FEAR!!! I highly recommend this wonderful facility, and Dr Shanahan to anyone with dental needs. I wish I could give more stars!!!

TLDR: Staff are kind and helpful. Scheduling system needs improvement. My family is new to Maple Shade. I scheduled my first appointment six months out. When my appointment date was approaching, I received multiple calls that I needed to reschedule due to staffing issues. Although I had already waited six months, I obliged. I received multiple reminders to fill out my health history online even though I had already completed it. Every time I opened the link, my information was not saved. This is very confusing since I have no way in knowing on my own that they can see what I submitted. It was also annoying because after I confirmed with the office they had my results, I continued to get reminders to fill out the form. The day of my appointment, I altered my schedule to accompany this appointment. My husband needed to get approval to work remotely due to us being down one car. I arrived 30 minutes early to my appointment. They had NO record of my appointment even though THEY called me and told me I had to reschedule it because of an issue on their end. I had multiple confirmations confirming the location, date, and time for this appointment. I also had to prove to them via a voicemail their office left me that it was them that called me to make that appointment. They stated they use a third party system to communicate to patients and even though the staff made the appointment in this third party system that was able to document the appointment and send me reminders, their office failed to record it. Therefore, for every communication they send me whether text/email holds no truth for me going forward. Receiving a text and asking me to confirm my appointment essentially means nothing. I was confirming an appointment that never existed. Even though both failed appointments were on Maple Shade, they were unable to accommodate me that day and turned me away. My family jumped through hoops for that appointment. My husband had to yet again, get approval to work from home for another appointment. This causes us a lot of stress. Once I made it in to finally be seen, the staff were excellent. I do have confidence in the employees tending to our teeth. They were nice and knowledgeable. They also used more efficient equipment than the previous office I used. I expressed discomforts and they offered solutions. My daughter had one appointment at Maple Shade. They weren’t overly friendly during that visit. She was referred to a pediatric dentist. I called Maple Shade and canceled her next appointment and explained she would not be returning for a long time since she will be at the pediatric dentist going forward. Which Maple Shade should know that since they provided the referral. Nothing was super annoying about this until today when I received a text message from the third party system they use asking me to reschedule her appointment. And that was my last straw that led me to filling out this survey.
