Dr. Bassi spoke with me for about 5 minutes. She did not perform an oral exam or review my xrays. From our verbal discussion she concluded that the discomfort that I am experiencing in neurological due to low estrogen from menopause. She suggested an anti anxiety medication might help. She stated she would review my history and xrays and call me with a treatment plan. I paid for my visit and never received a call with a treatment plan. Ive since received a 2nd opinion and was given a logical diagnosis and treatment plan. I will be interested in reading the cookie cutter generic reply from the office.

We have been going to Marcin for years. Recently not only are we having issues with things being billed correctly, we can't access the statement, wait times 30 mins or more, rudeness given to our chronically ill teenager, our appointments have been canceled without notification which we show up and the staff has no records, and now appointment times changed without our consent and less than 24 hour notice. Anyone know of a dependable and on time dentist recommendation?!

lady at front desk was nice and lady who took my X-rays was friendly and understanding…. however Dr. Bassi was very rude. I have a tooth I know needs a root canal or pulled and I know I have problem areas, but instead of going over a plan or having a discussion on what’s going on she just insulted me, left room to right up a plan, sending me out to schedule first visit. when I went to schedule appointment there was 7 visits with 4 different root canals totaling $15k (not a single one was discussed) briefly talked about the pain I was having with the one I assumed was going to be a root canal from pain and hole. also showed concern for my wisdom teeth erupting and was only informed my bottom were out… no details, no plan for what I need to do for pain or if it’d need to get them pulled. I have never had cavities, root canals, or anything… she did ask me what I thought the problem was and I said pregnancy and breastfeeding. was rudely interrupted saying that was “a myth and to think about it if that were true every women would have terrible teeth” I had been told by several doctors & lactation consultants that the pain I was feeling in my teeth was calcium being pulled and I needed to up my calcium intake and was put on pills. I had a high risk pregnancy with loads of other appointments filling my schedule and my previous dentist was booked out for a year. anyways she was very insensitive and assumed a lot with a nasty attitude behind everything that left her mouth. anyways I’m very disappointed, and will be getting a second opinion.

I'm a new patient and I regret making a choice to go see this dentist, Dr. Bassi. Her consultation with me was less than 3 minutes in total, and she failed to acknowledge my dental concern. She was dismissive, and she failed to explain the reasons for her diagnosis or prescribed treatment. Despite my vocal communication of my confusion regarding her diagnosis and my request for further explanation, she failed to explain it. The Dental hygienist attempted to explain as much as she could but she also was puzzled at the need for some of the procedure as evidenced by her questions. I wish I have checked her reviews earlier and would have saved myself some time. I'm open to recommendations on better dentists in Peoria area. Thanks and best regards.

Excessive waiting times (over 20 minutes, one-time 45 minutes); untrained office manager did dental work on me, which did not go well. Great work as office manager but not recommended to do any dental work on patients. Doctor and hygienist Harshal are fine
