About Viridian Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery - Seattle

Viridian Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is an oral and maxillofacial surgery, periodontal surgery, and dental implant practice in Seattle, WA, one of Seattle's longest-standing oral surgery providers, located in the Olive Way medical dental building. Our office is located next to Nordstrom and across the street from Westlake Center light rail station, and parking is available in the 509 Olive (Medical Dental) building and at Pacific Place. The dental practice combines the expertise of board certified oral surgeon Dr. Thomas Maring and renowned periodontist Dr. Susan Maring to deliver unparalleled oral surgery and implant care. The practice offers single tooth implants, implant supported bridges and dentures, and All-on-4 full arch treatment, along with wisdom teeth removal and bone grafting when needed. Viridian Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is proud to serve patients from the nearby communities of Seattle, Medina, Bellevue, Kirkland, and Mercer Island.

What sets this practice apart is having an oral surgeon and a periodontist working together, so that surgical stages of implant treatment can be coordinated with periodontal care in one location. The team utilizes an intraoral scanner, eliminating the need for uncomfortable traditional impressions, creating highly detailed, instant 3D models of the teeth and gums, and combining this with CBCT imaging to offer computer-guided implant surgeries, resulting in more predictable outcomes, shorter treatment times, and improved patient comfort. Patients considering dental implants can expect a consultation focused on their bone health and treatment goals before any surgical planning begins.

He was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon (National Dental Honor Society) in 1989 and was awarded the Pierre Fauchard Award for highest clinical scholarship the same year. Dr. Susan Maring is a periodontist who practices alongside him, collaborating on treatment planning for implant and extraction patients.
