Because of my redheadedness and family history of waking up during surgery, I expressed concern that I may not get enough anesthesia during my surgery. The anesthesiologist did her job very well, I鈥檒l just say that. Despite being barely conscious afterwards, I strangely remember how helpful the assistants were in getting my dazed self into my car afterwards. Best part is, I got to keep my wisdom teeth! Recovery was a lot easier than I expected, given the alleged difficulty of my surgery. As long as you follow all of the instructions they give you, and take all of your medicine as advised, there is absolutely no pain or trouble beyond a week or so. Even though I鈥檒l hopefully only have been here once, I can tell that this place is the Chick-fil-A of wisdom teeth removal. Dr. Manus is an artist.

I went to McDonald and Manus on 2/17/26 and 2/19/26 for him to pull my teeth. I was glad Winterville Dental referred me to them because that doctor was excellent. I hate the dentist. They usually always hurt but not these people you have to go and try them out for yourself I am telling you you would not feel nothing even the needles that they put up in your gums you can feel the pressure but they don't hurt. Whatever they are using they are good at it they are very professional they made me feel very comfortable. And if I need to go back that is where I'm going first. I was waiting for him to pull the teeth and he had already pulled it out. TRY THEM FOR YOURSELF. AWESOME TEAM!!

We have seen Dr. Manus several times (5-8?) for 3 different members of our family. He is very kind and calm, very professional and we have always been happy with the results. There have never been complications from our surgeries. The office staff is great as well.

Dr. Manus, is the best! Him and his staff are amazing! I was treated so nicely and really felt like family while at the office by everyone!
I went to a local oral surgeon in Eatonton, Ga where I live and I was not happy and when I called to get in with Dr. Manus, everything went perfectly. I would recommend him and his whole staff to anyone that needed any kind of dental work done that requires an oral surgeon. You won鈥檛 be disappointed!

I have had a number of teeth removed and an implant done with this office. My children had their wisdom teeth removed here. When it came time get 3 teeth removed and prepared for implants, I chose this practice. They are skilled in dental surgery and current practices. They do their best to make you comfortable. The staff are helpful and pleasant.

Dr. Manus graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 1986, served as a C-130 pilot in the United States Air Force and Georgia Air National Guard, completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Emory University School of Medicine in 1999, and is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Dr. Jimenez earned his dental degree from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in 2009, completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Emory University in 2013, has published research on dental implant success rates, and has been board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since 2017.
