I just switched dentists due to relocation. Called Med City Dental. Can't say enough good things. The staff is wonderful! Dr. Funke is fantastic. He engages you in your dental care needs. He shows you what the issues are, provides options and let's you decide what is best for you. He likes to educate and empower patients. He and his staff are caring! As a dentist he is very gentle.
I and my husband have been a patient for about a month. I have recommended him to all my family, friends and colleagues.

I love this dental practice primarily due to the staff!
The staff is friendly, empathetic, knowledgeable, and they explain everything every step of the way. Who isn’t afraid to go to the dentist? Not at Med City Dental. I enjoyed every minute on site; the friendly conversation, and the hygienist and Dr. Scott explaining every step!
My experience with their services includes dental cleaning, comprehensive exam, occlusal guard, and a dental crown.

Med City Dental is a family and cosmetic dental practice at 3400 East River Road Northeast in Rochester, Minnesota, serving patients from Rochester, Byron, and surrounding Southeast Minnesota communities such as Kasson, Stewartville, Oronoco, and Pine Island. The practice offers dental implants as one of its tooth replacement options, alongside dentures, dental bridges, crowns, root canal therapy, tooth extractions, cosmetic treatments such as porcelain veneers and teeth whitening, clear aligner orthodontics, and care for jaw joint disorders, snoring, and lip and tongue tie. Dr. Scott A. Meet the Doctors
Med City Dental is led by Dr. Scott A. Funke, a Doctor of Dental Surgery and Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Funke completed his undergraduate studies at Iowa State University, graduating summa cum laude in the honors program, and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction earned by a small group of general dentists, and is working toward Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry. He has completed the four essentials courses at the Pankey Institute and averages more than 100 hours of continuing education each year. His clinical focus includes dental implants, dentures, tooth extractions, jaw joint disorders, and sleep and airway concerns. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and he regularly volunteers at the Salvation Army Good Samaritan Dental Clinic in Rochester.
