Dr. Melling and team are the best!
I was travelling from Ireland, had a bridge that became loose/tooth broken emergency. The receptionist was so nice when I called, and said they would fit me in. The issue was managed quickly and all resolved to allow me to continue my vacation in comfort. The kindness, generosity, empathy,and complete professionalism by the team and Dr. Melling was appreciated and will not be forgotten. Thank you so much, Anne Marie

Definitely in my book the number one Dentist, Dr.Melling’s staff definitely one of the friendliest I have ever met and they do a great job. I would highly recommend coming here.

My experience with Melling Dental has been quite frustrating as they lack proper process. The visits themselves aren’t the worse, a little on the aggressive side but overall gets taken care of. However I received a call weeks later stating that I had given them an improper card which in hindsight is no big deal but I was in the process of a big move several hours away which caused a delay in the process of me being able to get them the information, which they responded by trying to make me pay the bill which is very infuriating because this was simply a flaw in their process which should have been caught prior to any work being performed. I have since been with dentists in slc and have had no issues, (as they caught it prior to performing any service) which was very easy to manage right then and there and not when I’m in the middle of a move.

Dr Melling is the absolute best! Literally, I flew across the country for dental treatment because I trust him more than anyone else. Can’t say enough good about Dr Melling and his assistant Naomi. They are simply the best (Tina Turner). Thanks for taking such good care of me!

Just returned from my semi-annual cleaning/exam. I love the new decor of the office. It’s clean and fresh and calming. Kersie, my hygienist, is the best ever! She is so competent and friendly. She did a great job without any pain!! Dr. Melling is professional and creates a nice atmosphere in the office. I appreciate the text message reminders. I never thought I’d ever say that going to the dentist was enjoyable, but this is the best staff I’ve ever worked with!

About Melling Dental
Melling Dental is a general dentistry office located on the third floor of the Depot Plaza building on Main Street in Cedar City, Utah. The practice describes itself as offering the full spectrum of modern dentistry, with an emphasis on quality materials and patient education so that patients can be partners in their own oral health. For patients exploring tooth replacement options, the office lists restoring implants, bone grafting, and both simple and surgical extractions among its procedures, along with dentures, partial dentures, and bridges as other tooth replacement choices.
Beyond implant-related care, Melling Dental provides exams and cleanings with digital radiographs and intraoral photos that the team reviews with patients, same day crowns designed and milled in the office, conservative fillings, root canals, pediatric dentistry, and whitening. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm with limited availability on Fridays, and it welcomes consultations and second opinions. Dr. Melling took over the practice of Dr. Shannon Sorensen when she retired in 2021 and continues to serve her former patients as well as new patients from the Cedar City area.
