I love my teeth cleaning visits—it’s basically a spa day for my teeth. Nothing ever hurts, the whole team is so warm and genuinely happy to see me. When I walk out, my mouth feels fresh, smooth, and just… happy. Honestly, I look forward to the next one.

My first time meeting Merrell, and he was thorough, straightforward, and I appreciated his honesty. I appreciated his kindness while my teeth situation is far from ideal—he told me exactly what I needed and how to fix it. I also had a really great hygienist, I believe her name was Tyne, and I’m sorry to her if I’m wrong! She was through, kind, and super patient. She made me feel comfortable at every potential uncomfortable turn, and I hope to see her again. This office is amazing. The people up front are the glue that holds this machine together with their amazingly positive attitudes and helpfulness. You can hear smiles over the phone, and to hear a beautiful smile over the phone—who could ask for a better practice?!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a wonderful experience at Dr. Merrell’s practice here in Lubbock. He has excellent manners—very polite, kind, and informative throughout my entire visit. His assistant was absolutely top-notch. While cleaning my teeth, she talked to me the entire time, explained what she was doing, and helped ease my anxiety about being in the dentist chair. That level of care made such a difference. They both took their time with me, explained everything clearly, and were completely upfront about pricing, billing, and insurance details, which I really appreciated. The front desk ladies were also amazing—sweet, professional, and timely with everything. They made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. I feel confident that my smile will be beautifully restored, and my teeth will be shiny and sparkly when we’re done! I highly recommend Dr. Merrell to anyone looking for a new dentist. My family will also be switching over to see him. Fantastic practice!

I love Merrell and Nichols Dentistry! They take such good care of me everytime I’m in for my checkup! Abby does the best work cleaning my teeth and she has the most kind and caring touch! Dr. Merrell truly cares for his patients and goes above and beyond to make sure they feel taken care of!

I called today to set up an appointment for me and my kids...however I decided not to go with this dentist due to insurance reasons... however I do believe they deserve the 5 stars!!! The receptionist was very sweet and I am so glad she explained everything to me before setting the appointment and well just wasting my time!!! I am very grateful for that!
