I would like to thank Dr. Jeffrey Richardson and his entire team at Metairie Dental Care for such a wonderful experience every visit. Dr. Richardson is very professional, friendly and he truly makes you feel at ease throughout your visit. His staff is just as wonderful and professional as well. A special thank you to Carrie and Kelly for scheduling, Michele for the wonderful cleaning experience as one of the hygienist and Myeisha, Dr. Richardson’s technician, for making me feel comfortable during any procedures I may need. Your beautiful smiles and upbeat personalities truly put me at ease every visit. I hope I spelled everyone’s names correctly. I truly appreciate the kindness and professionalism shown by everyone in the office. They truly make dental visits a positive experience. I highly recommend!

Dr Richardson is the BEST! His front desk staff is phenomenal, especially Kerri. Emily and Kennedy are spectacular hygienists. I cannot recommend this office more.

With the few occurrences that I have had with this practice, they were really good. It is really hard to find a dentist that you are comfortable with and they did a really good job. I am giving them one star because of the occurrence that I had today. The front desk lady named Kelly was extremely rude. They did not inform me that they had switched locations. I made it to the previous location 10 minutes before my appointment time. When I made it and saw that they were no longer located there, I called them immediately and expressed to them that I was on my way and that I should be there on time or maybe five minutes later. She told me that that was OK. As soon as I got there, they got me in immediately and before the technician could start anything, Kelly informs the technician that my insurance was inactive. Mind you I have been having the same insurance since 2017 and I also had a backup dental insurance through my job that is very much active, she ran both and said that they were both inactive. I asked her to give me the phone number for said insurance and she would not give it to me and told me that she thinks it's best that I no longer be a patient there because of my missed appointments in the past. I called my insurance personally and they told me that my insurance was in fact active. Then she also stated that I was late today for my appointment, again no one informed me of the new address. I spoke with the OD and he basically didn't care. His front desk claims that they verbally told me the address which they did not. They never called me to confirm my appointment. They sent me a text message and I was even willing to show him the text message where an address was not sent to me. He also stated that due to me having to cancel appointments, that it did not allow him to be able to fill those spots and this was the reason why he no longer was taking me as a patient anymore. As a provider, I don't understand how you cannot have grace for people who try to make it to their appointments, but maybe things have came up and they can't make it. I made it to my appointment today a few minutes late (which is their fault). Mind you, I spoke on the phone with Kelly and informed her of all of this and I genuinely feel like she could've told me over the phone if they were not willing to take me as a patient anymore. Even better, don't allow me to schedule an appointment with you guys anymore because I had to call to make that appointment in the first place. I actually made it to my appointment today and it was a complete waste of time. On my way out the door I asked one of the technicians if that was in writing ( If you miss so many appointments that you will no longer be welcome as a patient) because I feel there should be some kind of warning, Kelly responded with maybe you should make it to your appointments. She is extremely rude, and the doctor just believes whatever his staff says which I get is a private practice, but as a patient and some one who works in the medical field, i know how difficult it is for people when life is happening. It's upsetting because I was even recommending people to him because I felt they were sooo good, It genuinely shows that they are only about the money. Also they don't take medicaid (not my insurance) and that's usually the first red flag because those are the people who need help the most. Companies won't take medicaid because of how long it takes to get their money. Just money hungry and rude. As a leader, you have to hold your staff accountable. She can act that way behind a desk. In the real world with someone else, this could have gone differently. Take accountability that this could have been prevented. Good luck to you and your company!

Had a great visit with Dr. Richardson. I was pretty anxious about going to the dentist, but they made me comfortable right away. I hadn't been to a dentist in quite awhile and I thought it would be more difficult, but the whole process was easy and painless. His staff is incredible. Everyone in the office was friendly and helpful. I’m really glad I found Metairie Dental Care, I can smile confidently again!! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a dentist who is focused, professional and makes you feel at ease. Without a doubt, the best dentist and staff I've ever been to!!
