Dr. Schmitkey is the best in his field.I had 3 teethe cut out and barely sensed any pain. I have strong bones so I know it must have been difficult for him to get all of the roots. He and the staff were wonderful. I would highly recommend these wonderful professionals to anyone in need of oral surgery. I am blessed to have found them. The front office staff was also wonderful. They are professional and kind. These ladies are the best and most friendly I have experienced. They work hard to help you while in your desperate need. The prices and follow ups are a real blessing. So if you call these ladies and ask questions be kind because they are. Don weaver

My experience here was fine, had my wisdom teeth all removed. I dreaded and avoided this surgery for years, but it had to be done because number 17 was decaying. The staff here are pretty busy, and dont make much small talk, but they are dilligent workers. The doctor is a pretty nice guy, he told me that based on the x-rays my teeth would be easy to remove. He also asks for a phone number to call and check on you later in the day once the surgery is done, but he does so using a private number so if you miss that call it is pretty much impossible to return it. Can't say as i blame him, that phone would probably ring off the hook if the number wasn't private. You can trust him, he is a good doctor. Edit: first day of recovery, teeth removed yesterday. I think I am kind of fortunate, because i have pretty much no swelling, and only a bit of soreness in the bottom right, i think that wisdom tooth was the one that was most recessed in the gum, so that is probably normal. Most people experience a good bit of swelling and soreness after. At this rate, I am not sure if i will even need the pain medicine. Though of course i am still taking the antibiotic and the anti-inflammatory. Sorry I missed your follow-up call, doctor, thanks for leaving a voicemail!

Friendly staff. Dr. Schmidtke is a very experienced and confident oral surgeon. He's really nice. He made us feel comfortable with the upcoming procedure. Reasonable prices for patients without insurance.

I highly recommend Metro! He is the best... the office and staff are so kind and caring.... I had some teeth pulled and was not in much pain... again.... highly recommend!!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!! Thank yall so much for helping me!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I contacted this oral surgeon from my recommendation for my dentist to have two molars extracted. The staff was exceptionally kind, caring, and took their time explaining to me what was going to happen. Once I met the doctor himself, he explained what the procedure was going to be like. he answered all my concerns. I went in a few days ago and had both teeth extracted and I have to tell you something it was 100% pain-free. I felt absolutely nothing and all I got was a numbing shot. The doctor called me up late that night at my house to find out how I was doing. You really can't ask for much more from a doctor and his staff. I would highly recommend this doctor. If you look at a couple of reviews that give him a less than a five star review, I urge you to click on that person's reviews and you'll see that they have left multiple negative reviews for people. I guess some people just want to feel like they're in control. 10 Plus Stars for this Practice.
