Dr. Shabany’s office is where you want to be if you need a tooth replaced with an implant. I had a front tooth root extracted and an implant inserted without any discomfort. His office staff are friendly and competent. I hope you don’t need an implant, but if you do this is the place.

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!!! My third time coming in for a visit and second time for routine dental cleaning and I have to say Karen is by far one of the best dental hygienists I have seen in a long time. She is very thorough when she cleans your teeth while at the same time educating and informing you of proper dental hygiene and the overall health of your gums and teeth. She is also so friendly and personable which makes the visit way better especially if you're like me...I tend to be a little nervous about going to the dentist. And Dr. Shabani, although he has only seen me as part of follow-up after my cleaning, he is so nice and he also is not hesitant to answer questions or address concerns you may have about your teeth and/or gums. This is the best dentist office I have come across in a long time. They definitely have a new patient with me.

After a hiatus from Dorsett Village Dental care due to my insurance plan, I am back and couldn't be happier. The staff were so welcoming, and as kind, reassuring, competent, and efficient as ever! They gave my teeth a great cleaning, and even patiently sat with me to explain what was going on in my X-rays. I would highly recommend this practice and the wonderful people in it to anyone. Keep up the great work, everybody!

Dr. Shabany and his entire staff were great to work with. They treated me well, explained exactly what was happening, what they were doing and how it will fix the issue. They're very courteous and got me in & out on time. I hadn't been to a dentist for several years so it was starting over from scratch and I'm glad I did. I now have MY dentist!

Each and every time I have been at the Shabany Practice I have impressed, pleased and grateful for the staff interventions and their willingness to improve my dental health. As a HCP myself I highly recommend the Shabany practice.

Metro West Dental & Implant Institute is a small, focused dental practice located at 443 N New Ballas Rd, Suite 244 in Creve Coeur, Missouri. The practice describes its approach as whole-patient dentistry: rather than treating problems one at a time, the team builds a comprehensive, individualized plan that considers each patient's full periodontal (gum) and restorative health and addresses concerns in a coordinated sequence. Dental implant care is a central part of the practice. Implant planning uses cone beam CT imaging and 3D-printed surgical guides, and both surgical placement and the final restoration are handled in-house. Implant options include single tooth implants, implant-supported bridges, implant-supported dentures, same-day dental implants, and All-On-X full-arch restoration for patients replacing an entire arch of missing or failing teeth. The practice also treats peri-implantitis, an infection around existing implants.
Beyond implants, the practice offers preventative care such as cleanings, exams, oral cancer screenings and bruxism (teeth grinding) treatment, along with cosmetic dentistry, tooth-colored fillings, in-office crowns and bridges, dentures and partials, and full-mouth rehabilitation. Periodontal services include periodontal disease treatment, scaling and root planing, gum grafting, and laser gum contouring, and the practice uses Fotona laser technology for many hard and soft tissue procedures. Oral sedation is available for anxious patients and longer or more complex procedures. For patients without insurance, the office offers an in-house dental savings plan, and financing through Cherry is listed on the website. Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM.
The practice is led by Dr. Khaled Shabany, DMD, MS. Dr. Shabany earned a bachelor of science in biology at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and received his dental training at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. He then completed three years of post-graduate specialty training in the Graduate Periodontics Program at Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago. He has combined clinical practice with teaching, including several years as an Assistant Professor at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, and the practice website credits him with more than 30 years of combined clinical and academic experience in periodontics and implant dentistry. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, and the Greater St. Louis Dental Society. Outside the office, he enjoys motorcycle riding and cycling with his family.
