Meymand Oral Maxillofacial Surgery is an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice located on San Jose Boulevard in the Mandarin area of Jacksonville, Florida. The practice is led by Dr. Samira Meymand, who provides a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including dental implants, bone grafting, wisdom tooth removal, corrective jaw surgery, and treatment of facial pain, facial injuries, and TMJ disorders. For patients missing several or all of their teeth, the office offers implant based tooth replacement options, including All on 4 and full arch treatment, designed to restore a natural looking, functional smile.

The office uses three dimensional CT imaging to help plan implant placement and other surgical procedures with a high level of accuracy. Patients can be treated with intravenous sedation or outpatient anesthesia administered by a staff trained in sedation support, and the practice maintains a latex free environment for patient comfort. Dr. Meymand brings extensive surgical experience from her many years as a Navy oral and maxillofacial surgeon, and the practice serves patients throughout Jacksonville and the surrounding Mandarin area who are considering dental implants or other oral surgery.

Meet the Doctors

Dr. Samira Meymand, DDS, is the oral and maxillofacial surgeon at this practice. She is a graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry and completed her oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the National Capital Consortium, Naval Hospital Bethesda. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. She is also a member of the American Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, and the Florida Dental Association.
