Dr. Michael Colleran and his entire team are hands down the best dental practice in all of SLO County. From the moment you walk in, you can feel how much they genuinely care about their patients. If you’re ever in pain or dealing with something urgent, they go above and beyond to get you in the same day, which is something that is incredibly rare and so appreciated.
Dr. Colleran takes the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and make sure you’re comfortable every step of the way. You never feel rushed or dismissed—only cared for. The front desk staff is absolutely top notch: friendly, organized, and truly kind. They make scheduling, insurance, and follow-ups completely stress-free.
This is the kind of dentist everyone hopes to find but rarely does. I honestly wish I could say even more good things because they deserve it. If you’re looking for a dentist who is skilled, compassionate, responsive, and genuinely invested in their patients, this is the place you want to go. Highly, highly recommend.

My experience with Dr. Colleran’s office was great, I didn’t wait more than a couple of minutes in the waiting room. I was quickly taken back a full exam and x-rays were done and I had a cleaning. All the staff was super friendly and personable, Dr Colleran is very kind. Happy to have found a new dentist that addressed my concerns, but did not try to upsell me.

From the very first phone call, I knew I had found my new dentist. The friendly and welcoming staff help to make the office atmosphere comfortable and supportive. All of the procedures were carefully explained and professionally administered. As a new member of this community, I feel very fortunate to have found a quality provider to take care of my dental needs.

Very friendly and inviting staff and atmosphere. I also appreciate the no pressure about various upsells. I didn't realize that this initial appointment had no cleaning, but will be able to schedule for that no problem! Looking forward to more appointment with them! And thank you for the new patient gifts!

This was my 1st time back since the fire....it is beautiful, warn and inviting. The best part was seeing my favorite people behind the counter... a comedic dual. They remind me of the 2 old guys in the balcony on the Muppet show. A dental visit is not on the top of most people's list of things to do but the staff here make it a pleasant experience
