I scheduled with Dr. Lynch after having a poor experience with a dentist at a different practice. He was incredibly kind and took his time to evaluate and explain all aspects of his proposed treatment plan. Cindy and Cara were both very helpful. All in all a wonderful experience. As someone who gets nervous at the dentist, the excellent care I received was very much appreciated!

Abigail was new to me but she cleaned my teeth nearly as well as Jessica, who was my previous all time best cleaner! I’ve been enjoying my newly smooth teeth all day. Always a pleasure to see Dr Eliot and find out what new treatment lies ahead for these 71 year old chompers! I’ve been a patient here ever since Dr. Benefiel, and if I ever run into him in Florida I can assure him the practice remains in good hands with Drs. Eliot and Lynch!

Dr. Lynch and his team are fantastic! Every single one of them. I came in for a teeth cleaning today. I was so relaxed, I fell asleep. Instead of enduring a dental visit, I actually look forward to and enjoy my twice a year visits. I have had some cosmetic dentistry performed with such detailed expertise, to perfection. Whatever my dental future holds, I am loyal to Michiana Smiles. I have complete trust, without falter.

I’ve had multiple concerning experiences at this dental office that have made me hesitant to return. During a routine cleaning, the hygienist used dental floss that was too thick for my tooth gaps. When the floss got stuck between my teeth, they pulled aggressively, breaking the floss multiple times without being able to remove it. This caused significant pain to my tooth and gums. The next day, I noticed red marks on my face from where the floss had been yanked so forcefully, and my gums were very sore. During a filling procedure, the dentist overfilled the space between two teeth with filling material, making it impossible to floss normally afterward. Even after trying to fix it, that tooth still feels painful. What should have been a straightforward cavity filling has left me with a tooth that now feels noticeably different and uncomfortable. I don’t understand how so much filling material ended up packed into the entire gap between my teeth. I have concerns about both the technical skills of the dentists here and the attitude of the front desk staff. I’m seriously reconsidering whether to continue treatment at this practice. However, every visit ends with lengthy discussions about how “terrible” my dental situation is, and I feel pressured to book multiple follow-up appointments for issues that don’t seem urgent. I’m uncertain about having them handle these other procedures, yet I keep getting pushed into scheduling more appointments. I’ve tried to be understanding, but they’ve repeatedly made avoidable, basic mistakes on routine procedures that have caused me real harm. I can’t understand this lack of care toward a regular patient who has done nothing wrong.

The office and staff are outstanding. Dr. Lynch is the best. Can’t think of a better place to receive dental care.
